Rory: Forever

(Sorry I didn't update for over a month!)

~flashback~

Rory's POV

16 years ago:

"Hey are you okay?" a girl/boy asked me.

I replied, "No, I'm all alone with no friends, but how are you?"

"Hey, no worries! I'll be your friend and we'll be best friends for life." the girl/boy replied holding her/his pinkie out.

I made a promise with her/him that day, that we'd be by each other's side forever.

6 years ago:

"Y/n, we've been friends for a long time and we made a promise to stay friends forever-" I said.

"Are you not gonna be my friend anymore?" Y/n said, sadly.

I replied, "Well no. Something better, which you may not accept, but will you be my girlfriend/boyfriend? I know we may be too deep in the friend zone but I've fallen for you and I've been in love for the longest time."

Y/n replied, "Yes, of course! You've no idea how long I've wanted you to say that!" as she/he ran and hugged me tight!

Present Day

Y/n has been the love of my life for the longest time, and on this date I'm going to propose to her/him. We've been dating for about 6 years now, we're 21, we just got out of college, and I feel ready to spend the rest of my life with her/him.

Y/n's POV

I'm going out with Rory again! I always love being with him and he makes my heart flutter every time he flashes his smile. It kills me to see him sad, but I know we're meant to be together, forever.

I'm at the park where Rory and I met 16 years ago. I see him standing under a tree decorated with fairy lights and I run and hug him tightly.

"Rory, this is beautiful!" I said still amazed at the scenery.

Rory replied, "A beautiful setting for a beautiful girl/guy."

I blushed a light pink as I gave him a peck on the lips.

Rory said, "Y/n, I don't want to be just boyfriend and girlfriend/boyfriend anymore." as he kneeled to the ground.

"Rory, you did something similar in highschool, what are you-" I said as he pulled out something beautiful.

"Y/n, my beloved, I love you so much more than words can describe. I know that you're my soulmate, my one, my other half, and my world. Will you marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?" Rory asked showing a beautiful ring inside a black box. 

"Of course I will!" I replied hugging him and spinning around under the tree.

"C'mon my soon-to-be-wife/husband, I have this date planned out perfectly." Rory said as he led me away.
