Fox Fire (Hanta Sero x Reader)

Ch. 5

After Sero had told Tsu and Tokoyami that he loves Ruby, they decided to get everyone, except Sero and Ruby, out of the dorms so that Sero can confess without anyone interfering.
"Do y'all think this will work? I mean, what if no one wants to leave?" Sero asked worriedly.
"Don't worry Sero. You can do this. Ribbit," Tsu stated.
"Indeed. I agree with Tsu. You can do this," Tokoyami agreed with Tsu.
Sero sighed as he was really nervous.
"We will do this tomorrow. Plus, there is a festival tomorrow anyways. Everyone is talking about it. Ribbit," Tsu stated.
Then it dawned on him. Ruby wanted to go.
"But Ruby wanted to go as well. I don't wanna hold her back..." Sero had said, worriedly.
"That's right. How about confessing her there in a place where you two will be alone?" Tokoyami suggested.
Sero just nodded as he thought about what all places at the festival there were in which he could be alone with Ruby. Then an idea struck him.
'Maybe I could spend time with her by playing games with her and maybe win something for her then confess to her at that moment...' Sero thought.
He then decided to stick with that plan and, if it needs to be changed at a certain point, then he'll change it when he gets there.
~To the Festival~
Sero walked up to Ruby and said, "Hey Ruby? Since everyone is in pairs, do you want to pair up with me?"
Sero was really nervous but kept his cool.
"Sure!" Ruby replied, making Sero blush a little bit.
"I think we should play some games first then go on some rides. What do you think Sero?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah, that sounds like a plan," Sero replied back with a smile.
Then both of them headed to play a lot of games, in which Sero won Ruby a stuffed animal at one of those games.
"Thank you so so so so so much Sero!" Ruby said happily and hugged Sero.
"Just call me Hanta," Sero said, "And you are welcome."
Ruby looked up at him and smiled, "Okay! Hanta you're so kind!"
She then noticed his nervousness.
"What's wrong Hanta?" She asked.
"I-I...I love you Ruby.." He said then looked away blushing.
"I...I love you too Hanta," Ruby said back then kissed his cheek.
