For some context, both Rantaro and Kiyo are streamers. Kiyo lives in Japan while Rantaro lives in LA.

Rantaro's POV
BEEP BEEP BEEP
I woke up to the sound of my alarm screeching in my ears. I groaned as I sat up checking my phone seeing a reminder. Flight to Japan today 9 AM. I check my alarm to see what time it was. 7:06. Oh fuck. I hop out of bed rushing to my closet grabbing my clothes. I ran to the bathroom quickly taking a shower and heading back out to my room. I checked the time again, 7:45. I still had 15 minutes. I decided that I might as well get a head start and called an uber. I grabbed my bag and keys and waited outside for the uber.

Once I got to the airport I checked my phone to see a couple of texts from Kiyo.

I put my phone away and turned it on airplane mode as I boarded the plane. It was about an 11 flight for LA to Japan. Once the plane took off he took out his laptop and did a bit of work for the next few hours before deciding to take a nap.

Once I woke up we were about 15 minutes away from landing. It was around 8:00 PM in California while it was around 12:00 PM in Japan. I would usually be nervous about how jet lagged I was going to be later but this time I didn't care. I was about to meet the love of my life for the first time. I remember the first time we met. I was streaming Minecraft with Kokichi when he introduced me to Kiyo about a year ago. From then on we just grew closer and closer with him. We started streaming together almost everyday. I was too busy in my own head that I hadn't even realized that we were landing. After we landed I got off the plane and went through that tunnel thingy (I've only been on a plane like twice so I'm a little spotty on some things) and looked around. That's when I spotted him. He was even more handsome in real life than over discord. I realized he hadn't noticed me yet so I decided to scare him a bit. I got up on my tip toes and put my hands over his eyes. "Guess who!" I said. He seemed a bit startled at first but then turned around and smiled. "Why hello there Taro," he said. "Hello there Kiyo," I responded. I saw him staring at my lips. "Can I kiss you?" he asked. I put a finger over his lips. "Not so fast lover boy."
