Chapter 1

My name is Elizabeth Jacobs,and this is my story...

When I were 16 years of age,my Mum and I moved to a small area in Manhattan.We settled in well,Mum got a job as a waitress at a popular resturant;and I enrolled into a successful college.At college,I was I admit a bit nerdy,and independent,kept myself to myself...in kinder words,im just saying that I was lonely at college! 2 months later,I was in the canteen at lunchtime;and I was just about to tuck into my ham salad sandwich;when the most handsome boy came to sit opposite me,literally at the time my heart was racing...this really is love at first sight,I thought to myself! He had curly light brown hair,blue eyes,tall and he had tanned skin.

He took out of his bag a smaller sandy brown bag,which had his lunch in it.He took out a baguette;looked at me briefly for a second,and sank his white teeth into his baguette.A few seconds later,the boy put his hand out in front of him.This is weird,I thought to myself."Hey,im new here...my names Joey;Joey Michaels.Is your name as beautiful as your face?"Joey smiled,showing his dazzling teeth as well as his smile.I chuckled and held my hand out as well and greeted him too:"Hey,my name is Elizabeth Jacobs,how are you?"We shook hands for what had seemed a eternity before Joey said:"My parents and I have just moved around here,Dads just found a place for his buisness." This boy is wealthy too? I thought,he is slowly ticking all the boxes."Well,Joey I havent been here for long either...me and Mum have moved round here a month or two ago;where are you living round here?"I smiled.Boy,this was the start of a new friendship!
