𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪 Samantha and her best friend Alexis Brooks had moved to London in 2019 to pursue their careers. Originally both being from Sheffield it was a change but they got used to it. The two were models part time trying to break into the business fully was proven difficult. Balancing a few jobs at once in order to afford living in London as the expenses were very tough. Working part time at a small cafe as well as being a part time model who did a lot of shoots and had a good following on Instagram. She enjoyed modelling so much and her and Alexis were just looking for that one thing that would push them into the industry.
It was a normal Wednesday for alexis and Sam, Sam had a shift at 1pm at the cafe as usual. She got changed into her work outfit put her hair into a messy bun and headed down to the cafe which was only 2 streets from her. Arriving at work she clocked in and headed to the tills where she began serving customers. She wasn't fond of her job however it made her money so at this point it was okay "Next please" shouted Sam still looking down at the register. "Hiya um could I get 2 flat whites, an espresso and a chai latte to go please" "Of course that will be £15 please and what name is it?"Sam said slowly looking at the man in front. She felt like she recognised him but couldn't quite put her finger down. "Vik"he handed her the money when she suddenly remembered "Wait Vikram Barn!?" She said quite hesitant she didn't want to have gotten it wrong. "Wait Samantha Smith! I don't believe it, gosh it's been a while! What are you doing in London?!"said Vik quite shocked. Turns out Sam, Vik and Alexis were best mates throughout secondary and sixth form but they ended up drifting as soon Vik went straight to uni in Leeds however Sam and Alexis had took a gap year and just lost touch with him. "It's so good to see you yeah I moved down here 2 years ago for work right now, and what are you doing in London I thought you were in Leeds for uni?" "Yeah I ended up dropping out and turning YouTube into an income" "Oi Vik hurry up we need to go mate!" Shouted a voice from outside their were 3 boys stood outside who seemed a bit impatient. "Sorry Sam I've got to go but it was nice seeing you, here's my Instagram dm me later and we can go for a drink to catch up" "yeah of course I'll talk to you later!" Vik picked up the coffee's and headed out, Sam continued her shift as usual until 4pm when she headed home.
"I'm back bitch" shouted Sam kicking her shoes off at the door and chucking her coat onto the sofa. Alexis was in the kitchen cooking pasta with her boyfriend, Sam knew him quite well he earned the stamp of approval from her anyways. His name was Tobi and he was so nice him and alexis really worked well and she was so happy for them. "Hiyaa me and Tobi were just making spag bol you want some?" Said alexis she often cooked dinner as she liked doing it. "Yes I'm dyinggggg" shouted Sam. They all sat down at the table making conversation whilst eating. "Alexis you'd never guess who came into work today" "Who?" "Vik" "What Vikram Barn? From secondary?!" Questioned alexis quite shocked as she'd not heard his name in a while "yeah I know I was just as shocked as you" exclaimed Sam. "Vikram Barn?"questioned Tobi a tad bit confused. "Sorry Vik was our best mate in secondary and sixth form but ended up going to Leeds uni and we lost touch" Sam picked up her phone and typed in the user Vik said and clicked follow she was overly surprised when it said 3.1 million followers and a blue tick.

She pulled up one of his photos and showed Tobi. Tobi took the phone quite shocked and scrolled down and clicked on a photo to show alexis and Sam. "

That's me" he said laughing "what how do you know Vik?"said a confused Sam. "You know how I'm in that YouTube group that makes videos?" Sam knew about this but never questioned it as it was all a-bit confusing to her she didn't even follow Tobi on Instagram either. " Well yeah.." "well Vik is in the group hes my best friend!" "Wait no way that's so cool that you know him!" Tobi liked to keep his life quite private apart from telling alexis he was a YouTuber he tried to keep his Instagram and friends away from her just to know she wasn't in it for the money and he knew the internet was a cruel place he didn't want to put her under pressure. Alexis understood so they made a pact that she wouldn't google him or search his Instagram she was a girl of her word and she stood by it, this meant his friends didn't know about her they knew he was taken but nobody knew what she looked like or anything. "I'll FaceTime Vik it's about time the lads meet you anyways" "what are you sure I thought you wanted to wait" "I'm sure I don't mind anymore plus I just know they'll like you." Tobi clicked on the name and clicked FaceTime after 2 rings Vik picked up. "Ayy what's up Tobi" "Ayo Vik I wanted you to meet my girlfriend if you don't mind" alexis popped her head into shot "Alexis! No way as if you two go out that's so cool you know I saw Sam earlier right" "Yeah she's here too I live with her, I was so shocked when I found out you two are best friends!" " I can't believe it I'm so happy for you both that's great, I'm guessing I'll be seeing more of you now alexis seen as you and Tobi are a thing. "Yeah of course Vik who's at the house?" "Oh everyone why are you coming" "yeah I want alexis to meet the rest of the lads" "well come down then fetch Sam aswell not spoke to them both in a while will be good for a catchup " "Sam are you down?" Asked Tobi she immediately nodded whilst Tobi said bye put down the phone and the three headed to the car.
