"Gordon I don't mean to startle you but there's an issue in sector C, I've been advised to keep everyone out." Gordon looked just past the security guard over to the deep metal hallways spotting a gentle red flashing bouncing off the polished steel.

"What happened? I could run and get the H.E.V if this is such an issue." Gordon shoved his hands into the lab coat's pockets, trying to assert he was serious he slightly pushed up his chest. "It was a" the guard, who was just taller than Gordon by an inch or two, snapped his fingers a few times down by his belt seemingly trying to bring the words to mind. "...Chemical spill, it's against orders to go down there though." He waved off the physicist's concern trying to get him to go away, but the doctor was immediately suspicious by his hesitance to answer "Why not? I've been authorized for a Hazard Environment handling, I should be allowed to go?" Gordon folded his arms frustrated.

"Sir, it's against orders." "By who specifically?" The guard shrugged vaguely pointing down the hall. "Administer Breen, who else do you think? Now, you need to piss off, this isn't yours to know about." The taller officer's tone got hissy. "...Fine." Gordon gently scoffed.

After his spat with the Guard, he aggressively decided 'against orders' was not a good enough answer, it was time to use his knowledge of the ventilation system for his personal benefit. Sneaking into the closet, and most importantly, empty office he could find he went down on the floor on the left most corner of the room sitting down. He dug a pen out of his dress shirt pocket messing with the back end of it to macgyver a tool. Leaning over and shutting one eye for better focus he began to take the small screws off the vent. After the gently pop of the thin aluminum sheet, he slid it over starting his way inside crawling through the freezing vents. He does it all the time but the metal still made his arms cold through his uniform, which he absolutely hated. But he couldn't focus on being mildly bothered by the chill, he had reached one of the vents just above the hall towards the test chamber. Getting up close adjusting his glasses he almost jumped back at what he saw through the thin slits, a massive glowing white mass almost humanoid in shape thrashing around destroying computer blocks and a small group of panicked scientists trying to grab onto it.

He could just barely spot the inset of a face on the blob, the oddest thing was how parts of it fluctuated through the walls and solid metal castings they kept their tech inside. It was almost passing the object like it was made of liquid? But... liquid would form around the objects, it was truly going through the now useless mainframes.

Gordon had gotten so distracted pressing himself close onto the grate to see inside better his weight caused the old rusted vent cover to weaken and opened right up him causing him to fall down into the hallway his body and close to his head slamming hard onto the concrete. He tried to get up but his vision got spotty and darkened as he desperately tried to fight the immobilizing pain.

"HELP!"  As much as he struggled to regain his lower body seeing the massive creature and the group of scientists head his way, he could tell he was beginning to blackout and even worse started to give in. His vision was completely gone and he could barely sense anything but his arms being pulled and his body gently knocks against things in the hall, as much as he tried to keep the focus on the things around him he finally blacked out.
