'Chapter 3

*IVORY P.O.V*

*THE PICTURE IS MEADOW*

 Everything pieced together like a puzzle, but I wasn't willing to break myself in half to fit.

I don't remember my brother at all, and I'm not sure if I even have one.. 

And I can't do that to myself, not again...

"I don't have a brother" I said reassuring them, well more like reassuring myself....

I had to pretend I didn't know anything, because really I don't, I just know somethings missing ,but I won't break for it.

They looked at me like I just killed their cat. I did that once, killed someone cat...it wasn't on purpose....

"Look I didn't kill your cat ..." why did I just say that, shit.

"You had some question for us right?" I nod...wait no I don't not anymore....

We all walk into one of the cabins..

We all sit down, and I look around for a second..

There is a big oval table, and a bunch of chairs..

"Well, before we get into your question let's introduce ourselves".

"I'll start, my name is Rhys Evans" Rhys.. it fits a leader.

Rhys just keeps starting at me, what should I do introduce myself?

"I'm Meadow Lynn" said the girl who chased me. Thankfully I didn't say anything cause that would have been awkward..

"I'm Malex Rose" said the other girl there. Pretty name...

"Last but never least I'm Kian Ever"said the other guy there.

They're all looking at me, waiting for my name. 

I hate people.....especially when they talk...

"My name is Ivory Lilith"I say giving them the answer they want. 

"So Ivory how did you get here, I can tell you're from The Society?"How does Rhys know I'm from The Society?? Oh ya I came out of a hole that lead right to The Society...

"uhh ya I am...." I say trying to avoid the first question because I really don't remember...I just remember running, creek, tunnel, fences, explosion, running, creek, school, and then repeat...

"You're from The Society???"Kian basically yells. And I thought I was slow....

"yes stupid, she's from The Society where do you think she got the powers from?"Meadow says that after hitting him real hard with a folded newspaper. 

Powers?? Yes stupid?? I am slow...

They all laugh, and they all see that I don't. They can tell I feel uncomfortable.

"So the questions you wanted to ask?"

"oh..." I wanted to ask about Nyx, but I'm choosing to let it go, because I can't..and I also just don't want to...

"Actually I don't have any questions anymore so...." 

"Sorry for wasting your time, and don't feel the need to say thank you, or repay me.."I say and walk out.

Soon after Rhys follows...

"Hey..."

"Hey..."I say.

"Quite a nice necklace you have there.."He says breaking the tension..

"Oh ya.. won it at a fair, I couldn't win that stupid game where if you win you get a fish, so I won a necklace instead..."I say laughing at the memory of me crying so much that the man gave me a necklace to shut me up.
