You wake up your hair is all over your face your manage to get it out of the way. You put on shorts and a baggy T and head out for a run. You ran all the way to central park on your way back you went to the donut store and picked up 2 donuts one chocolate one vanilla. You were almost at the doors of the apartment building when you saw James outside the building on a bench. "Are you ok?" you say to James "no, I left my keycard in my room and I locked myself out" he says in a disappointed voice. "why didn't you just call the landlord?" you ask. "I don't know how to..."  he says looking at the ground disappointed. you grab his hand and pull him to the elevator. You press the up button and get in. 'ding' you arrive at floor 4 you grab his hand and pull him outside your door. Your unlock your door using the keycard. "you can sit on the couch james" you muttered "ok" he whispers as he sees you holding the phone. "hi is this Mr zemanovich?" you ask "yes, that is me?" he exclaims "well my friend james locked himself out of his apartment and he needs a new key" you mutter "well I'm afraid I'm out of town right now but I will be back next Monday" he says "Thats 3 days!" you exclaim. "sorry good bye miss y/l/n" he says "wait Mr zemanovich!". he hung up "James!" you exclaim. "yes y/n whats wrong?" he asks "well Mr zemanovich wont be back for 3 days!" you say "um whos Mr zemanovich" he asks. "our landlord james" you say "oh well cant I just get a new key?" he asks "no you cant he has the keys!" you say "well that's helpful" he mutters with an angry tone "you can stay with me for 3 days james" he stares at you and sighs "James!?" you exclaim. "ok,ok fine thank you so much y/n" he says and then smiles "no problem james do you want the couch, spare bed, or sleeping bag its your choice" you say "sleeping bag! please" he says . "okay sounds good james, where do you want it?" you mutter "between the bar and kitchen please" he says "sounds good" you say. "I'm going on a run see you later y/n," he says while heading out the door. "okay James sounds good," you say. You decide to grab your sketchbook and pencil and draw. You started drawing a figure it was a man until you realized you were making James. You finally finished drawing and you were so tired because you woke up at 5 am. Put the sketch of James on the side of the couch and passed out. You left the door a crack open for James opened the door and saw you passed out on the couch so he closed the door quietly and then he saw the sketch so he picked it up and looked at it he smiled at it and placed it back down he was wearing sweatpants so he could wear those to bed so he took off his shirt and got into his sleeping bag beside the couch and went to bed. You heard James scream you sprung up and out of bed "James!" You exclaim "what!!!" He exclaims "are you ok" you whisper "yes why?" He whispers back "you were screaming" you whisper "oh sorry I um.." he says in a nervous voice. You look at him and he's sweating you climb  off the couch and sit by his side "oh.." you say sadly "it's okay James" you say "What how do you know what happening i-" he says "James I've been through enough nightmares to know one when I see it that was a nightmare, do you mind telling me what it was about" you say "well only if you tell me what your last nightmare was about too" he says "ok." You say "this guy his name is zemo, I'm assuming you've heard of him"  He says "yep. I know about him James" you answer "so I got arrested because I was framed, zemo showed up at the place I was locked up in and started reading my trigger words and then I did bad stuff and that's what my nightmare was about what was yours about y/n?" He says "well when I was 14 my step dad would abuse me and touch me in places I wouldn't want to be touched he would punch me and stuff like that till this soldier took me in" you say "oh y/n in so sorry" he says "it's nothing compared to what you went through James" you say "were not comparing you went through hell to Im sure of it y/n!" He exclaims "i was about to give up and just stop harming myself and do it" you mutter "oh y/n im so glad you didn't you can always rant to me I'm a good listener" he said "thanks James Im going to go back to bed now" you say "ok goodnight y/n" he says "goodnight James" you say. You wake up to the smell of bacon you sit up and you see James cooking you go sit at the bar he turns around "oh hi y/n you scared me" he says "sorry James" you say "it's okay Im making bacon and eggs for breakfast here you go" he hands you a plate with perfectly cooked eggs and just crispy bacon and a warm steaming coffee "thank you James" you say with a smile "no problem y/n" he says. You take you first bite the eggs melt in your mouth it was the best meal you've ever had. "James this is the best meal I've ever had" you say. He smiles at you. Then he sits down next to you "you both finish you take each other's dishes and wash them. "Thank you, James," you say "yep" he mumbles clearly paying attention to the paper, not you. You turned on the news 'BREAKING NEWS ROBBERY IN BROOKLYN CONVICT NOT CAUGHT' "James did you hear that" you say as you turn off the tv "no sorry what y/n?" He says "There was a bank robbery here in Brooklyn" you say "oh were they caught" he asks "no....why?" You ask  "that's not good, don't stress it" he says "I'm going on a run" he says "James wait!" You say "yeah?" He asks "can I come ?" You ask "sure but we don't talk when we run, ok?" He says "ok James" you ran 10k "James I'm tired" you say "ok" he waves down a cab and you guys ride back. He stops the cab right outside the pizza place and you guys go in. "Well have one large pepperoni please," he says " what would you like to drink?" The waitress asks "ill just have water please," you say "can I have water too please," James says "how'd you know I like pepperoni?" You ask "I ran by the pizza place the other day and saw you eating pepperoni" he answers. "Here your pizza and your waters enjoy guys!" The waitress says. You guys finish eating and head home he started running you chased him he finally stopped running outside the apartments. You guys headed towards the elevator but a sign that readout of order "oh man it's out of order!" You say "we'll just have to take the stairs today" he says. You unlocked your door and went in James sat at the bar reading the paper. "I'm going to go In the shower I'll be out soon James," you say "ok" he reply's. After your shower, you put on comfy clothes and go see James. "Wanna beer?" You ask him "sure!" He reply's "here you go" you pass him a beer. He finishes his beer. "Wanna watch a movie James?" You ask " sure y/n why not" he answers "your pick James," you say to him "um zootopia!" He exclaims "okay James I'll put it on," you say. Once you're done with the movie you decide to go to bed on the couch James goes and takes a shower.
