"Senku! Senku!" Taiju burst through the door filled with overflowing confidence. There was a shine in his eyes that screamed excitement, but knowing him, it could be for any reason. Taiju, a simpleton at heart, was someone Senku could but couldn't read at the same time. If anything, its what made him a force to be reckoned with.

"Can you keep it down? I can't concentrate with your yelling," Senku sighed as he attached a glass tub into the sphere-shaped machine. "You think after being friends for so long you'd remember that. Dammit Taiju."

"Sorry, but I can't hold it in any longer. Today's the day!"

"For?"

"I'm going to tell Yuzuriha how I feel. After five years, I'm not afraid anymore!"

"You're an idiot for even waiting that long in the first place," Senku chuckled. Nevertheless, his snarky comments couldn't ruin Taiju's permanent happy mood. Secretly, Senku rooted for the two. "If you want, I got a love potion that'll win her over for sure," he casually said as he handed the round flask to Taiju. Humming to himself, Taiju observed the clear substance before pouring it down the drain.

"No thanks, this is something I had to do on my own," he grinned from ear to ear while Senku shrugged.

"Suit yourself." Senku returned to his experiment, giving Taiju a moment with his thoughts. Is this what he really wanted to do? Would be able to tell her or would he stand there and look like a fool? Fear crept in on him slowly and for a quick second, he almost went against his plans. "Don't beat yourself up over it." Senku's monotonous voice brought Taiju back to reality. "Maybe you shouldn't have poured out the love potion after all."

"Wasn't it just gasoline," a brown haired student questioned. Senku responded in laughter and Taiju stood there confused. "Could have killed him, you know?"

"Nah, the big oaf wouldn't drink it. He's simple, but not down right stupid." Senku lightly punched Taiju's arm as the tall teen still tried to understand what was happening. "Don't mind us, Yuzuriha can't wait forever."

"Right," Taiju exclaimed, making a run for the door. "Cheer me on!" Taiju's voiced echoed in the hall, leaving the classroom silent once again.

"That big oaf," Senku mumbled. He always knew Taiju was head-on but he never knew to what extent. He attempted resume his work, yet he couldn't keep his eyes off the window. Yuzuriha stood by the tall tree fiddling with her fingers and from a distance, Taiju could be seen running towards her. Her eyes locked with his and speed slowed considerably. Even from the second floor, Senku could tell that Taiju was struggling.

"He's not gonna do it," said one student.

"No, she'll just reject him," chimed in another.

"If that's what you think. She'll cry and call him a creep," joked a third.

"Or maybe, they like each other," Senku smirked. The three students stared at Senku in shock, his gazed still focused on the two.

"You think so, Senku," the first student asked. They quickly adjusted their glasses waiting for a response.

"Ten billion percent." The event gained popularity and now each student of the class stood by the window and awaited for Yuzuriha's response. It was like waiting for your favorite couple from that one tv show to finally admit their feelings for each other. Some waited for a plot twist, while others hoped for things to work out for the two.

"Yuzuriha," shouted Taiju. His voiced reached the second floor classroom and already some felt he was off to a rough start. Yuzuriha's voice was as soft as ever and to the class, she sounded like a squeaky mouse. "I ... I ..." Taiju began to stutter and started to pull at the collar of his black uniform, he was sweating.

Before another word was uttered, the class was blinded by a bright light. The bright green light engulfed Earth in less than a minute, diminishing Senku's reaction time. Shielding himself, he grew a anxious of what was to become of him, yet nothing changed.

"The hell," was all he could say before his sharp red eyes grew wide with shock overcoming all his senses. For the first time, the boy genius was left speechless at the sight in front of him. There you were standing, scared and all.

On April 1, 2019, you traveled to the past by 3,700 years ... and all you could do was let out a scream.
