Jaune P.O.V

Ever since Cardin revealed my transcripts to all of Beacon I have become the laughing stock of the school. Only a few people have remained by me. My best friend Ruby Rose, despite her sister Yang, my teammates Nora Valkyrie and Pyrrha Nikos and shockingly a girl named Velvet Scarlatina whom I befriended after standing up to Cardin for her. Even Professor Goodwitch has been helping me with after school lessons on combat and aura gauging. But still I wish there was more....which is what lead me to here....the Emerald Forest.

"Stupid Cardin. Ruining everything. Making my parents disown me and take away my weapon." I said walking through the forest

"Do you....desire....strength?" I heard a voice say.

I looked around til I saw a small light in the distance which I decided to investigate. After about 10 minutes or so of walking I saw that was making the light....a floating chess piece. But this one was different. For starters, obviously, this one was floating. Then there was the red ruby that capped it. It was freshly cut from the looks of it. And the piece itself was solid black like tar, inky, dark black.

"Do you....desire....strength?" A voice asked again.

I looked around and didn't see anything...until I looked at the chess piece.

"H...Hello?" I asked

"Do you....desire....strength? Power?" It asked as I saw the chess piece glow.

I thought about it resulting in me remembering everything. Cardin exposing me. Yang beating me up and to near death, threatening me to never come near Ruby. Weiss calling me names and so much more thinking that she was better than me. Blake just ignoring me despite us all knowing that she was a Faunus and former White Fang. Ren hating me for what I did despite what I said to him and how I treated him like a brother.  But I also remembered people like Pyrrha, Ruby, Nora and Velvet....people who stayed beside me through all this....if I was stronger then they wouldn't be seen a weak just like me.

"Yes. I desire strength. Power." I said confidently.

"Then...take the piece...and let my power be yours....Jaune Amun Arc." The voice said using my full name.

Just then I was enveloped by a bright light as I felt my body change.

3rd Person P.O.V

He grew to about 6'3 and his body became more developed. His muscles and core tightened and became defined

He also dawned three new tattoos. One on his back and the other two on his arms.
