Chapter 21

Nekio POV

This was my final day at the brothers they all been hungry for my blood as usual they all had their unique attitude also i been avoiding Kou .

The only reason i avoided him was the fact if he shore my eyes he knew that why i asked Shadow to use his shadow power to create a delusion that Kou would see me as a normal school girl who dad have died at age 6.

Kou POV

I walked thinking deeply about my situtation Nekio has been avoiding me for some reason now i can contront her and read her eyes  to see the truth.

I walked the mansion slowly approaching and following her scent.

I looked for ages as the sun nearly blinded by it light as i searched i had finally reached my goal finding Nekio sitting in the field picking roses as a dog ran around her as she pet her.

The dog was larger then normal it had crow black fur  it eyes wore green with razor sharp teeth which was unnusual it had a human dog scent .

I walked up as she looked me casual as i pierced her eyes nothing seemed strange she was a human girl with a loving mum with a dead dad that died when she was 6 with a life pet given by her father.

I was honestly confused as i sat next to her.

Nekio POV

He looked confused as i luaghted mentally knowing he shore that delusion i wanted him to see.

He sat next to me as i looked at the sky.

"I always wanted to touch the sky make it mine"i said that out blue as he smilled not a wicked but a understanding one.

"Then we have something incommon "he facted as i giggled nodding as Shadow licked his face as i laughted.

"He likes you"i said in between laughter as he petted it this one seemed most caring out of them all.

"I can see what his name"he asked as he looked into his eyes.

"Shadow"i said as Shadows ears pirked up at his name.

"That seems matching to him"he laughed as he  started picking flowers as he finished with a headband of blue roses that matched my eyes.

"Your beautifull like that you know"he said so sudden as i blushed as he shoved my  hair as he leaned closer as i let him for kindness he gave me.

"Why you not fighting have you gave up"he asked as he looked at me suprised

"because your being kind to me so i guess it okay"i smilled as i stood as i went inside with house as Shadow barked as he caught up.

Kou POV

That was strange ...

I couldnt feel a strong feeling in my heart i called her beautifull to be honest she infact was out all the human girls i ever seen she was specail.

Nekio POV

I changed into my nirvana top with my plain black jeans with my top studded black leather boots with my black of mice and men zipped coat.

I looked in mirror as i packed my bags a week it gone so fast.

"packing oready"I looked to see Ayato standing at door.

"yeah Dahlia needs help with cleaning and cooking"I informed checking ny phone.

He looked almost dissapionted as i put on my back pack on packing my phone in my pocket.

"well il see you around"i kissed his cheek as i set downstaires.

Ayato POV

I watched her go as i touched my cheek why does she make me feel this way?

I looked intill she was downstaires .

Something about her made her almost 1 in a billion .

Nekio POV

I walked into suicide forest with Shadow i smelt a presence i looked around as Shadows skin melted of as his eyes wore glowing green he looked dead.

That was his real demon state as my eyes grew green like Shadows as purple flames flashed around my whole body i looked around as i took my katana sword as i tricked the person.

"those...... flames........ May"i looked up to see the one only Ayato standing infront.....

Ayato Pov

I followed Nekio to the suicide forest as she looked behind she looked panicked i tried approaching her looking in shock as her dogs skin melted as his eyes shot green as her eyes matched the dogs as purple flames sprouted out her body.

I remembered those flames the flames that caused May her life.

"Those......flames......May"the words cam out as she looked in horror as the flames died as her eyes turned once the night blue.

She looked pale as i was stuck in moment does this mean this is May????

Nekio Pov

I ran out everything I have worked for to make the brothers forget the monster i was was wasted.

Even the flames i had always promised myself to conceal,  had broken the barrier that I created.

I was ashamed of myself as tears silently struck on the floor Shadow looked at me with understanding eyes.

I petted the demon dog slowly he knew my problem maybe he wasent Killer but that didn't matter to me.

"I love you Shadow you know"I said with comfort to him as he looked understandingly.

Ayato Pov

I watched her run in amazement i was lost in what to do.

I could have ran after her but something told me to leave her.

Nekio Pov

I headed back to the cabin i looked inside and found Dahlia watching t.v with a full stuffed face of doritos.

"so you joined the doritos i see"I said in a betrayed tone as she looked embarrassed before turning serouis.

"You will all join use soon"she said in a retarded voice as we laughed together making me nearly forget about what have just happened.

We finally sat as i thought about next day i could have been absent for tommorow but it not like i could ignore them every day.

"Dahlia iam not feeling that well can i not go to school tommorow"i asked as she searched my eyes.

"What wrong you never say that you always loved school"she said hugging me as i sighed.

"It complicated please"i said as she nodded still hugging me.

"Your my daughter i love you that much"she said as i starred wall that have been first time she addresed me as daughter and not my name.

"Thank you mum"i said spilling tears being brave inof to ever call someone else mum....
