A/N: I REALLY WANT TO SLEEP AND GO PEE RN SO HERE IS CH 2 UNEDITED AS PROMISED! :) please spam The living hell of this with feels and comments. I'd like to see something when I wake up please 💕 (once again CH 138 SPOILERS).

"So this is where I was thinking we could settle." Announced Jean as he stretched his arms wide open, gesturing to the plot of land that was largely spread out.

"We'll have more than enough room if we ever decide to install a playground. I was thinking of even making miniature playhouses for when we ever have kids, but of course, that's in the future." He turned to smile at you. "What do you think?"

"I like it." You replied as you leaned against your car. Yes car. Ever since the Rumbling, in the years after, technology boomed; resulting in the spread of automobiles. On the day of your wedding, Onyokapon gifted you and Jean a black shiny car, with leather seats. 'Please, accept this gift from me, my friends.' He had said during your reception, a fairly small one filled with close friends and family. 'There is nothing more I love to see than a couple in love, ready to begin their journey that is called life. Take this time to travel, enjoy life to the fullest, by each other's company, and make memories. Happy ones. I hope that this car will be of use in making them.'

And he was right.

The two of you did travel. Paris, for example, where the two of you danced under and on the Eiffel Tower, danced in front of the Louvre after midnight, and enjoyed ice cream in front of a bookstore. There, the two of you bought each other books that you might have liked; an old man not far from the shop sold ice cream as he smiled when he saw the two of you. He said something you couldn't (but Jean could) understand. Something about love. Nonetheless, your travels were filled with endless laughs.

"Wait till you see what else I have to show you." Not far from that land, by a lake, stood a house. Jean had mentioned that it belonged to an elderly couple that had no longer any use of this house because they were moving in with their families back in the city. Of course, Jean was more than happy to accept it. The house, according to Jean, was already solid and held a strong foundation. Not too old and not too new. Perfect for remodeling.

"Tell me what you want and I'll build it with my own hands." He said. "You want the walls painted green? You got it. You want the kitchen colored blue? Yellow, or that one green you've always liked? Say no more. I'm all ears sweetheart. All you have to do is ask, and I'll do it."

You smiled, leaning against one of the open door frames, "You've really thought about this."

"I want this to be our home." He said, nearing you. "The other house will be specifically for our family. This house," he circles around him. "Will be ours. I want this to be our summer home. A place where I can write, and you can paint. We'll spend our evenings eating by the lakeside, and our nights will be spent stargazing in between each other's arms- as they should." Holding your hands in his, he presses a kiss to your knuckle.
"I can't think of a better life without my soulmate."

Anytime he spoke about your future like this, you felt your heart expand. His words were the wind to your sails. Everything about the man with whom you matched a tan on the fourth finger of your left hand, felt perfect.

"Neither can I."

On that night, the two of you sealed your plan over a (romantic) dinner organized by Jean himself; followed by stargazing.

And making love.

"Marco!" You called out, "Please tell your sister Sashine [Sah-SHE-n] to get her plate. She just won't listen to me." You ask your 6 year old son.
