"Why is a villain with you??" Alex yelled. Blackmoons pushed me to the side.
"I can explain everything." He said, strangely calm. "Let's sit down and talk." We all sat down. Winter, Liala, and Alex were sitting on one side of the fire, while me and Blackmoons were on the other.
"I am not a villain." Blackmoons began. "Well not completely anyways. I mean- not purposely. Am I making any sense?" We all stared at him blankly.
"Well, Bonecrusher controlled my mind." He said, looking at the ground. Liala screamed. Again. Alex's eyes widened. Winter yelled some random gibberish. I put my talon on his shoulder.
"Tell us more"
"Well..." He said "I never meant to be a villain. Bonecrusher kidnapped me 3 years after I dropped out of school. When I refused to murder her enemies, she controlled my mind so I would do her bidding. She made it so that it looked like I was doing it purposely, and I wasn't being controlled. I really am a good person. I promise, but she ruined my entire life by controlling me, so now I have no choice but to follow her orders to keep my somewhat freedom. So there. That's my story." The room went silent. Liala burst into tears for absolutely no reason.
"Ma!" I said, annoyed, "Calm Down!"
"You may spend the night.." Alex said in a strange tone. "Sleep in Sky's room. There are no empty rooms left."
"Thank you very much," Me and Blackmoons said. We walked into my room. He saw my Moon globe, my empty ink bottles, and my scrolls.
"Sorry for the mess.." I said. He wrapped me in his arms."It's fine." He kissed me. A weird feeling ran down my body. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and kissed him back. We might have stayed like that forever if Alex hadn't walked in. The expression on his face said he disapproved
. "I don't think you forgot my rule." Alex grumbled, "But I told you that you couldn't date until you were out of the house." I looked at Blackmoons hoping he wasn't disgusted, but he was smiling.
"Good!" He said cheerfully "Because she's moving out tonight!" Alex dropped the bowl he had in his talons and it shattered into 100 pieces.
"SHE'S WHAT??"
"I'm what?"
"She's coming with me! We have a mission to complete!" I hugged Blackmoons and began to cry. This was something I had been waiting for, but Alex kept saying I would move out when I was 15. I had cried all night. I should be able to move when I am ready. And now, I was.
"YOU CAN'T LEAVE!!! I-I-I-I I FORBID YOU TO LEAVE!!!" Alex screamed.
"SHUT UP ALEX!!!" I covered my mouth. I only called him Dad before now.
"Fine. Leave. You don't deserve a kind family." He turned "I wish you had been crushed when you fell off that mountain." Blackmoons snarled and lunged at Alex. Even though Blackmoons had no idea what happened in my past, he knew that that was supposed to be an insult.
"BLACKMOONS NO!!" I screamed. He stopped attacking.
"GET OUT YOU MONSTER!!" Alex screamed at the top of his lungs. Blackmoons lifted Alex up by his neck and threw him across the den.
"Pack up. We're leaving." I grabbed my Moon Globe and a couple of scrolls. I left the scrolls that had all of the things Alex had done behind because I knew Liala would be the first one to search my room. I wanted her to see what he had done over the years.
"Let's go." Me and Blackmoons walked into the living room. Liala saw us with our bags and stood up.
"What are you doing??" She demanded, walking over.
"We're leaving." Me and Blackmoons said in unison. Liala began sobbing and grabbed my wrist.
"You can't go with him!!" She screamed in my face "I need you! You must stay!!" Liala got down on her knees and begged me to stay.
"Mom... Alex said I had to leave...!" I said.
"That's Dad or Father to you Skyflyer," Alex said sternly.
"Shut up." I shot back "You're a horrible person and you don't deserve Liala. She's too kind to you." Alex growled and lunged at me.
"ALEX!!!" Liala Screamed, blocking his way to me "WHAT THE (wew Liala cussed. That's a first) ARE YOU DOING???" Alex stopped and slowly backed away.
"YOU LITTLE (gee Liala calm down) WHY THE (you sure this is still the same Liala?) WOULD YOU TOUCH MY PRECIOUS BABY LIKE THAT?? (dang) YOU, YOU (*sigh* WHYY LIALA)!!" Liala screamed and started to punch Alex in all the places it would hurt the most.
"(starting the sentence with a swear. GG Liala) YOU, YOU LITTLE (bleep bleep bleep bleep bleep) I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, YOU (*hums loudly over the swears*). YOUR (butt is the other word) IS SO DEAD!!!" I slowly backed away from her. She was scarier than the cannibal villain that invaded the school. Then something in my brain clicked. Blackmoons wasn't the villain that got into the school! The villain that got in was old and had a bunch of battle scars, including a scar that seemed to be caused by Rainwing venom. I'd have to keep that thought in my head for later. I grabbed Blackmoons and we ran out of the den.
