Chapter 1 - "Floresdomes' White Roses.

It wasn't long after Blaze woke up to realize he didn't belong where he was. He was laying upon what seemed to be a bed of gorgeous, white roses. He looked up slightly more to see the area he had fallen asleep in, the sky was a pink-ish hue that seemed to dazzle. The clouds looked as sweet as cotton candy. There were pink trees all over the meadow. Blaze grabbed his head, trying to remember if he'd ever have come to this meadow. Surely not, as the scenery didn't remind him of anything he'd see on a daily basis. Things seemed so strange. He had fallen asleep in a grassy green meadow, only to wake up in this mysterious world. He wondered how long he had been out for.

Blaze got up, his legs aching in pain, practically asking for him to rest for only a minute more. But Blaze progressed. He suspected he was only seeing things, and that this all could have been a dream. If it were a dream why did it feel so real?

Blaze grabbed his head, catching sight of his sleeves, realizing he was in different clothing than before. Blaze was wearing a green cloak that reminded him of the grass back home. His checkered chucks had been replaced with combat boots. He held armor on his chest and a holster for a sword, the holster was empty, though he wondered why he even needed it. He didn't plan on using any kind of weapon anytime soon.

Blaze decided to head north, passing the field of flowers, white roses in particular. It hadn't taken him long to find a cobble pathway that gradually got more noticeable the more steps he took. It led right into a big yet welcoming village. He was almost certain he wasn't anywhere near home at this point. Blaze had lived in the city with his mother, and sister. His father wasn't something he wanted to bring up. Not right now at least. The cities were almost bustling with people all round, on sidewalks, in the streets. He was surprised when he came across this village. There was a sign just right outside the village that sad FloresDome. He didn't know how he wound up here.

But he digressed as he continued to walk farther. There were little shops, but one had caught his eye. It was a little shop with pastries in the window, crepes, pies, cakes, even desserts he didn't know anything about. There was an old but welcoming sign hanging above the door. "Rose's Bake shop". Blaze was intrigued by the smell of freshly baked muffins as he pushed open the door. Only to be welcomed by two smiling faces.

"Hello, Welcome in! The name's Sandora, lookin' for anything in particular?" Blaze stopped gazing around as he heard the voice of someone greeting him, all too familiar. There at the counter stood a girl, about average height, with short orange hair with one blue and one pink eye. A very unique look indeed. And Blaze recognized it right away. Though he did not say anything, he kept quiet, still wondering if he had been dreaming. He cleared his throat.

"Nothin' really, I couldn't help but smell the scent of muffins as I happened to have walked by." Blaze grabbed the collar of his black shirt nervously as he looked away from Sandora's gaze. Sandora's lips tightened as she nodded.

"My mother has just whipped up another batch of her famous rosey muffins. I do believe that's what you have been smelling, would you like one?" Sandora leaned her hands farther into the counter, telling her head to her question. Blaze regained eye contact with Sandora and simply nodded his head. Sandora, not waiting a second more, opened the back door to the kitchen. The door making the smell of the muffins waltz out into the open.

Sandora comes back out with a Tray of muffins. Setting down the tray, she carefully placed them into the window with all the other desserts, all but one. Blaze knew that one was for him. Sandora dusted off her apron instinctively and looked up at Blaze.
