Smith

Waking up in a unknown bed. You could already hear screaming.

"BUT SHE'S YOUR DAUGHTER" Mother screamed like she had never before. I took a peek to find an older guy next to my mother. He looked calmed unlike mother who looked unwell.

This older guy was blonde and had broad shoulders. "Smith you knew I didn't want this kid" Mother exclaimed. "Mother" I said, her eyes widened "How you were supposed to-". "They were to what, you know what child how about you go inside and go back to sleep" the older guy said.

He carried me back into the room. He also put some tiny items that I can play with. He went out of the room.

An hour has passed since I saw them. My mothers yelling has stopped.

*Slam*

I heard a slam. It was the door that was slammed.

"Come out now, your mother isn't here so I'll be taking care of you from now on" the strange man said. "Where's my mother, where did she go" tears forming in my eyes. "Oh my oh, my, my, my please don't cry, your mother will come back just don't cry come over here let's get you some food, you must be starving" He said

You couldn't say anything. When you tried to say something back to him you couldn't. How can you trust someone you barely knew.

You went running back to the room you were once afraid of just because you were scared of this guy.

Days passed you still haven't eaten anything and your mother still hasn't come back for you.

Even though you didn't eat any of the food the guy gave you, he still knocked on the door for you. He even begged for you to come out and eat. He even waited outside of the door for you.

He talked to you. He also told you his name but you couldn't remember it. He was kind to you, yet you just pushed him away.

"My father passed away when I was young, just like you" he said. Hearing those words hurt you. Knowing that his father passed away at young age like you. You decided coming out of the bedroom.

Once you came out you saw him sitting besides the door. His eye were closed with a tear coming down his face. You came close to him and wiped his tear.

He was a bit startled, yet he pulled you into a hug. Wow you thought. This sense of emotion was new to you. This hug was comforting and calm.

"Let's eat" he said
