The taxi parked near the docks and I climbed out, still in search of Emerson. A variety of boats were lined up on the water and many tourists were eager to get on. I felt lost between them and the sounds of birds flying overhead weren't comforting at all. I was so tempted to actually turn around, get back inside the taxi and just return to bed.

"Riley!"

My head instantly turned to the voice that I so desperately wanted to hear and then I saw him. Standing inside a white boat, near the edge. His hair was tied in a man bun that I was slowly starting to love, wearing a navy blue, button down shirt and a cream pair of shorts. His smile calmed my nerves and I immediately walked over.

"What's all this? I asked amazed as he helped me on the boat

"What's all this? I asked amazed as he helped me on the boat.

"I told you. I just wanted you to see another side of Santorini." he said before I gasped at the sight in front of me. A small table was prepared with two wine glasses, a bottle of wine in an ice bucket with some fruit.

"No way." I smiled shyly. "This is too sweet." I turned back just in time to catch his eyes trailing down my body and up again, chewing on his bottom lip, before encouraging me to sit down to pulled out the chair. Emerson opened the bottle of white wine from the bucket and poured us each a glass, before sitting down.

"Quite the gentleman." I said, laying the napkin on my lap and eating a piece of apple.

"Because you drilled it into me." he smirked, before taking a sip from his glass. "And did I mention that you are... stunning, Riles."

"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself." I winked and took a sip as well. My eyes gave him a once-over before changing the conversation. "This was a really good surprise, completely unexpected."

The corners of Emerson's mouth turned up while chewing a piece of fruit. "So have you ever been on a boat before?"

"Yes I have actually, with my dad. We went on one of those boat tours." I smiled at the memory. "He wanted us to be tourists in our own city."

"He really sounds cool. The adventure kind."

"I guess you've been on many?" I raised an eyebrow.
