chapter three, another mutt!
THERE WAS SOMETHING about the rain that made Madeline Martinez irritated. She couldn't understand why. It's probably because its always humid and sticky after the rain. Not to mention she can't even wear her cute clothes without freezing her ass off! Oh! And don't forget that the damn rain always fucks with her witchy abilities. (She also couldn't give you a straight answer as to why that even makes a lick of sense she'll just tell you to mind your business and not question her.) And, unfortunately for her, the full moon was approaching.
"Have you figured out who that ass turned?" Madeline asked her friends as she took a seat next to them at the lunch table. Katy let out a defeated huff at her question.
"No, not yet." Katy responded and Olive snorted at her answer.
"Can't you just ask your little boy toy already? That mutt is the reason we're in this mess in the first place." Olive complained, causing Katy to roll her eyes.
"He won't tell me anything! I asked him, like, ten different times and he still won't give me an answer." Katy explained.
"Why don't you just, like, I don't know, use your damn crystal ball and find out yourself." Olive pointed out and Madeline hummed in agreement.
"Bitch is right."
"I can't do that. Me and Derek both agreed we wouldn't use our powers against–"
"Are you fucking kidding me, Katy? What happened to chicks before dicks?" Olive interrupted.
"I totally hate to agree with Olive, but she's right. What the fuck Katy? This is serious shit. That damn puppy of yours is literally threatening our entire existence." Madeline criticized and Katy's shoulders visibly deflated.
"I–I know that, okay? I know this is serious but I just can't do that to him!" The two gave the brunette a pointed look. "Look, I may not know one hundred precent who it is but I have a feeling of who I think it is."
"Why didn't you say that first? Now I feel like a bitch." Madeline whined and Olive smirked in amusement.
"You are a bitch." She pointed out, amused and Madeline simply flipped her off.
"Anyways," Katy started, drawing the attention back to her. "Before I left Derek's, I saw someone before Derek blocked my view."
