Why do I think that iKON joining Kingdom is actually a smart move:

I've seen a lot of tweets and comments saying iKON shouldn't have joined this show because they have already done a lot in the past. 

Which is absolutely true:

For Chanwoo, its his 3rd survival show

For Jinan, DK, Song and June its their 4th survival show

For Bobby, its his 5th survival show. 

I absolutely get why they think that but from a business standpoint, this is actually a great move. 

After Hanbin left iKON, they went into a down fall. With i DECIDE doing not as well as it should have, it was really a downfall. 

This is a chance that they can get back on the top that they used to like in 2018. This will potentially increase their sales and popularity and they can profit from it. 

Also if I am being really honest, during i DECIDE promotions, they looked kinda lost which is understandable because it is their first comeback without their leader. This is an opportunity to get themselves back together with the mindset like they used to before Hanbin left. 

I have watched the first episode of Kingdom and I think they as a team are getting much stronger now. 

Btw, I love their performance. I really liked the fact that they have used YG Hip Hop Gentlemen in this version of Rhythm Ta as celebrating YG's 25th anniversary (the performances were aired on the 23rd of feb and 24th of feb is YG's 25th anniversary). In this performance, Donghyuk and Jinan basically stole the show.

Also watching the preview for next week's episode, I think Chanwoo and Bobby are going to be the highlights for me idk. 

Anyways, I am pretty excited to see how this will go.
