Heather - Quinton x Josh

A/N: Long time no see. For this chapter if you couldn't already tell is inspired by the song "Heather" by Conon Gray. It doesn't follow the song directly but the name and general idea is used.

Quinton watched his eyes filled with anger and the green eyed monster almost eating him alive as Josh and Heather cuddled together on the bleachers after Josh's football practice was over and Heather finished her cheer routine.

Josh was the quarterback on the schools football team, he was also one of the most popular guys in the school which was no surprise - He's hot, athletic, and your typical high school bad boy.

Heather was the head cheerleader, always on top of the pyramid and always had guys going crazy over her. Her dad was one of the richest CEO's in the world and she had the looks of an angel.

Then there was Quinton, He was a nobody and the fact he was even Josh's best friend in the first place was mind blowing to him and every else.  They had been childhood friends and while Josh's reputation grew Quinton's didn't and he's just glad he kept him around.

"Hey dude." Josh said as he walked towards him with Heather as her arm wrapped around his shoulder. As much as he tried to contain his emotions he couldn't help but feel jealousy boiling in the pit of his stomach.

"Hey what's up"?

"I was wondering if you'd like to come to a party at my house"? He asked. Josh's house or more like mansion was huge, with everything you could imagine and want in a house.

"That sounds good I'll see you later than"? Quinton was about to walk off field when Josh grabbed his arm and pulled him back to where him and Heather are standing startling him.

"Actually I was wondering if you'd come with me and Heather and help set up"? He questioned hesitantly, and several emotions were flowing free through his body. While he was happy to be spending time with Josh the thought of Heather being there sickened him.

"Sure I'm down let's go".

"Okay Heather you can sit in the back while me and Quinton sit in the front." Josh directed making an slight but almost invisible smirk cross his face.
Heathers face broke out into a look of anger, jealousy, and disgust.

"Why? Just because he just showed up and he's your so called childhood friend doesn't mean he should be able to sit up there over me." She yelled startling both of the pair.

Luckily she calmed down after a few minutes and drove the awkward but thankfully short drive back to Josh's mansion. Whose they arrived a butler let them in the house and Quinton was shocked at the huge almost like palace.

"Alright I'll go with Josh and Quinton you can go somewhere else and help." Heather sneered grabbing on to Josh's arm. Josh felt awkward about what had happened but nodded anyways and tried to keep a sorta distance from Heather - If that was possible.

At the party Quinton lost sight of Heather and Josh, while he was hanging out with Kio and Griffin. "Hey guys I'll be right back." They nodded and Quinton began the search to find them.

"Hey guys do you know where Josh an-" Quinton opened the door to the room only to come face to face with Josh and Heather who were forcefully making out on the bed.

They immediately pulled back in shock looking at the stranger in the doorway. "Q it isn't what it seems like". Josh began but Quinton ran off, tears flooding his vision as he ran anywhere but there.

Quinton ran into an abandoned room in the house which was extremely small and hostile. He began to panic and desperately tried to try to get out, and he began to have a panic attack.

Josh ran after Quinton checking all rooms, he checked all the rooms all but one. The room which used to be one of his families guest rooms was now abandoned because of the small and hostile environment.

He rushed to the room and opened the door to find Quinton taking heavy shallow breaths while panicking on the ground. "Shit", He yelled starling the younger boy. He murmured an apology and rushed to Quinton wrapping his arms around him.

"Follow my breathing", Josh instructed taking a deep breath which to his delight the boy in his arms followed slowly calming down by the minute. After a few minutes of silence which only sniffles could be heard they pulled away Quinton still in his lap.

"Baby what's wrong"? Josh asked, the nickname coming naturally.

"Fine I guess there's no way I'm getting out of this anyways, I like you and I've liked you for a long time and seeing you and Heather make out make me feel even more jealous than I had before and I understand if you don't feel the same way".

"Quinton I like you too and I don't like Heather she pushed me on the bed and starting making out with me and before I could pull away you came in", He replied, cupping his face and bringing him into a gentle soft kiss full of emotions.

"What about Heather"?

"She can wait", Josh replied mischievously before pushing their lips back together and they began making out. It felt like a dream come true, but he had one more question.

"What will you be my boyfriend"?

"Of course it'd be silly if I didn't want to", Josh spilled out honestly a soft smile present on his face. Honestly this was something he had wanted to do for a while to.

The new official couple, ruled the school as they became the power couple that everyone wanted a relationship like. Neither could be happier and Heather she couldn't be angrier but they couldn't give any less fucks.
