It was a cool crisp morning, the orange leaves of the trees crinkling underfoot as you trudge through them. It was such a shame to be called in this morning to a council meeting, you thought to yourself as you rambled on, but what could you do. Gandalf had always been like a father to you, and there was no way you were letting him down with your tardiness. When you finally reached the dwarvish village, you were met with some odd stares.damn. You had forgotten how prejudice dwarves were towards anything but themselves. But you would have thought they would be a little more welcoming to a half-dwarf. I guess I look more like my elvish mother then my dwarvish father. When you finally reached the end of your long journey from one end of the street to the other, you had a rotten tomato in your hair and your self-esteem was at rock bottom. You arrive just in time too. Gandalf is just announcing your entrance as you stumble through the doors and stop, as the dwarves abrupt into protest. All of them, except a short blonde one who was looking very confused about the entire situation. It was probably his lack of a long beard you remarked to yourself with a smile. Then with a sigh you turned your attention back to Gandalf who was quieting down the dwarves and with a final "that's that" the decision was made. you would be one of the company going to reclaim your home.
