Hey guys it's Kendall, back for the second time to educate you guys on this month's fashion trends. The month is March and the weather is finally starting to feel like spring. The birds are chirping and St. Patrick's day is right around the corner.
So what should you be wearing this March? Well, after a recent trip to a fashion college and seeing what other people are wearing, I have come up with the general style idea for the month.
Everyone is wearing black booties. Whether they are high or low, flat black or shiny or textured or leather, they work with almost every casual outfit. They make you look like an effortless hippie or an uptown fashion know-all. Celebrities like Taylor Swift and Kylie Jenner have all been seen wearing these short boots and look great (but then again, when doesn't Taylor and Kylie look amazing?).
If you decide on spending your money on these very well-worth-it booties then let me help you make a very stylish outfit to go with them. Black and white stripes are very in right now so if you own a striped shirt grab that right now, minimalism is key so make sure there is no design on your shirt (you know, except for the stripes) and the smaller the stripes the better.
Next, grab some old ripped up boyfriend jeans, (or the new pre-ripped ones you just bought) and put those on. Last month I said dark jeans were out but this month their back as long as they have a lot of rips, like A LOT. We're not talking about a little knee rip. Roll your jeans up so you can see the tops of your booties and a little bit of your ankle.
Since the weather is a little iffy this year, you're probably going to want to layer, so go grab your army coat (that still hasn't gone out of style because it looks good with everything). It can be optionally tied around your waist when it gets a little warmer and jackets can really finish an outfit.
Alright its accessory time! Wear Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses because they give the outfit a really edgy look. This outfit is all about minimalism so jewelry should be small and silver like stud earrings and maybe a choker with a small charm. I'm not an expert on makeup but you should have the most focus on your eyeliner and definitely skip the shiny lip gloss and go for matte lips.
