Sunlight streamed through the slight crack of where my curtains hadn't fully connected together.

Stretching over to reach for my phone that was placed on my bedside table, picking it up, I read that it has only just passed 10:00am.

Groaning I roll over, so that my face is away from the sunlight that is pouring into my room, and check my notifications that I had. Clicking onto Snapchat I see one from my best friend, Summer.

She's crazy, weird, funny, smart, beautiful. Everything you'd ever want in a girl. One day, a guy, or a girl, is going to be so lucky having her as a mate.

I'm just your average teenaged girl. I would say I was pretty with my dark raven hair and clear skin, but I wasn't perfect. Who was?

Oh. Did I mention I was a werewolf? Well, you probably already guessed that.

Dragging myself out of bed, after checking the handful of social media sites that I use, I trudge to my bathroom that is attached to my bedroom, I check myself over in the mirror.

One word: UGLAAYY

Like seriously. My hair was sticking up everywhere. I'm not even joking. It's like a tornado happened in the night and just blew me everywhere. Thinking about it, I think my hair would actually still look pretty decent after a tornado attacked.

Even thought I looked like this everyday, it still overwhelmed me.

Stripping out of my pajamas and using the toilet, I stepped into my inviting shower. Allowing the water to run freely down my body, I washed my hair, applying conditioner onto the tips afterwards, then washing my body. I then take my razor, dragging it up my shaving foam covered legs. I then add moisturizer to soften my skin after I finish shaving every place that was necessary.

Stepping out of my warm shower, I wrap a towel around my body and open the window to cool the room off and let some of the steam out.

I then dry myself off and get dressed in a white shirt that was tight-ish, but not a slutty tight, then adding a thick belt that came under my breasts and then tugging on a pair of dark wash skinny jeans.

I hear the click of my door open and I whip my head round to come face to face with my boyfriend, Jake.

He's gorgeous, but I know I can't stay with him. Soon he'll find his mate and I'll find mine, so when we do, I know we'll have to split.

"Hey babe, looking gorgeous as ever." Jake winked.

I blushed every time he complimented me. Then again, I blush every time anyone compliments me.

"As do you, babe" I winked back.

He pulled me in by my waist and planted a kiss on my lips.

"So, ready for tonight?" He questioned.

"Tonight? What's to- Oh! The ball! How did I forget?!" I cried out the last part as realization hit me.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm sure your mum has got a beautiful dress for you okay?" He said in attempts to calm me down. It worked.

I nodded my head, placing another kiss to his lips.

"Thank you" I mumbled as I pulled away from him.

Curling my hair into natural looking, wavy curls, I applied concealer here and there, a bit of eyeliner, winged, some eyeshadow in a smokey eye effect, mascara and a light, pink lip gloss.
