That's the question everyone, included newly graduated lawyer Marie Turner is wondering. When the news broke out about the graphic murder of Joe Jackson supposedly by his own son Michael, this not only caused shockwaves throughout the country- but a split in public opinion. With some believing Michael did it and should be given the death penalty and others saying he was framed. Marie was completely infatuated with the entire case believing there's more to it than just a "did he do it or not."
When Marie was randomly assigned to be Michael's lawyer, she knew that it was her time to shine and that all the pressure would be on her to find out how Michael was innocent in all this and bring justice where it's needed. But who would've known the hell that'll be brought down upon Marie and everyone involved when finding out...
