Apocalypse : The Last Survivors

Chapter 3 The Outbreak

After sometime, I noticed that car's fuel was almost over . So I parked the car on a side .

Jennie , who was sitting on front seat next to me cuz I was driving , had a confused look before I answer why I stopped , she asked 

" Why would park the car ? Are we taking a break ... wait it's almost 30 mins only and you are-"

" The car's fuel was almost over that's why " I said cutting her words .

" Mark can u go and ..." As I turned around saying Mark to go and refill it again , I found both him and James already sleeping . 

" Look at them like seriously it's only 30 mins and they already sleeping " I said getting annoyed , Jennie also looked and sighed heavily .

" They can never change , shall I go and do the refilling ?" Jennie said and asked 

" No need , he will only do " I said 

" MARK AND JAMES BOTH OF U GET UP THIS INSTINT OR ELSE I AM NOT TAKING U GUYS ALONG WITH ME ! " I shouted even Jennie flinched on my sudden outburst. 

" We are up " " Yeah , Yeah we are up " Both of them said .

" Like seriously you guys slept as if we are traveling from 3 to 4 hours ."

" Sorry we were sleepy so .... whatever do u need in something ? why is the car parked ? Aren't we suppose to keep moving ?" Mark said and asked .

" Wow wow hold on firstly sleeping and then asking so many questions at once " Jennie said annoyedly .

" Ikr but yes I need help , cuz the car's fuel was almost over and that's why we are not moving . You go and refill it ." I answered his questions at once and said him to do it .

" Yes mam " He saluted and got out to refill . We were laughing on his way to replay .

Mark went back opened the storage compartment , took out the gas can and started refilling .

Meanwhile , 

" I am kinda feeling hungry ." James said cutely . We both chuckled . 

" So let's eat ." Jennie said excitedly .

We took out some sandwiches bought from the store and started eating it.

After 1 min Mark came and 

"Zombies ! Zombies ! " Mark said sweating and breathing heavily and looking terrified . 

- Mark's Pov -

I was refilling and humming ' savage love ' song but then I heard screams . I saw  behind and was horrified for a moment I couldn't believe my eyes thinking ' Are my eyes seeing correct or just hallucinating ' But then cuz of louder screams I came back from my thoughts and saw after blinking 5 times thinking that someone come and pinch me and I wake up from this nightmare . Some ugly and scary looking people were eating other people and after moment that human also become like that . I paused and then realized that the Apocalypse has started . I ran towards the front and said 

" Zombies ! Zombies ! " 

- Mark's Pov ended -

" What happened ?" James asked worriedly .

" Why are u shouting ' zombie ' ?" Jennie added .I nodded.

He gulped . " The apocalypse/outbreak has started we should leave quickly ." He said while getting in . 
The three of us turned out to see and soon regret it cuz the view was horrible as heel . Scary and ugly people or what we say ' zombie ' were eating other humans and then in few moments those bitten humans also turn to zombie . 

" Take the guns for the safety " I said .

James nodded and took the bag from the backseat and opened it , he and Jennie took AK-14 and Mark took both AK-14 as well as pistol . 

" Fastened your  seatbelts " I said and they did . I started driving fast . Seeing from the side mirror I saw few zombies coming our way maybe cuz of the sound ? 

" Mark, James , Jennie start shooting them . We can't remove their heads but maybe that's their weak part so aim for it ." I said 

They nodded and pulled the windows down and unbuckle their seatbelts  and took their upper body out and starting shooting them . Many were dead but many were also coming . As I was seeing them through the side mirror I got something to my point . I got cleared that the sound attracts those zombies .

"Stop it ! Seat back and fastened your seatbelts . The sound is attracting them more . SO STOP IT !" 

They did as I said and I speeded up . 

I tighten the grip on the steering wheel more stronger cuz I was already horrified and scared but the view wasn't helping my state anyway . It was scary and bringing little tears in my eyes .  People were running for their lives , kids were crying seeing their parents getting eaten and some people were coming in our way for seeking help but we're helpless . I wished I took it seriously earlier/sooner so that we could have left earlier . 

Jennie was crying by now , Mark was still horrified and James was somewhat excited cuz his one of the dreams were going on a fun and dangerous adventure but atleast not this scary one . there was heard either Jennie's cries or people's screams . After sometime we were out of city . Maybe zombies have already gone from here to the city . 

" Thank God we left early and knew about it ." Mark said .

By now Jennie was slept somehow . I couldn't comfort her much cuz I was driving also cuz neither her nor hem both knew driving except me . And they don't know how to comfort her . 

" I know right , by now John would be regretting by not believing us "James said 

" Hmm " I just said that much cuz was busy finding a proper way cuz many other vehicles were crashed or turned upside down on the road . 

James and Mark started eating . I stopped the car and also started eating cuz before couldn't completely eat cuz of those creatures . 

Author's Note : Hello ! Hope u guys are doing fine . Well there is a change of plan I did of adding Jungkook and Jimin just for a interest or maybe I wanted to XD . Well they are important roles tho . Stay tune .
