"Where are you thinking to go again?" the north korean comrade calls you from the back while you annoyingly click your tongue and turn around, along the two comrade who follows you day and night. "You know you can't leave this building without permission" the male comrade speaks with uninterested face.
"Don't worry I won't run away" you fake a smile with a nod. "Or else you'll end up like your mother" the comrade coldly spats and you pump your fist into a tight ball.
"Also, get ready. You have to perform a surgery this afternoon" the comrade halts his steps and again turns back. "I have to kill someone again" you frown, anger pilling up but the comrade silently leaves.

"Come in" you flatly reply when you hear a knock on your door, thinking it was one of the soldier again. "Oh, Abeonim" your face was neutral, neither an excitement of seeing your father nor anger. "You seem not surprised" your father weakly smiles.
"Why would I? You're always inside this building and pay visit once a week in my office" you say and arrange the x-rays of the patient that you were going to operate this afternoon.
"If our conversation is done then excuse me" you nod at him and take the x-ray, walking toward the door. "You have a surgery this afternoon?" your hand halts to twist the doorknob. "Thank you for pushing me into this hell" you coldly spat and harshly bang the door.
Later that afternoon, after the surgery
You dash on the wall on your back, slowly falling down in shock. White gloves in your hand covered with red blood, as well as your dress.
"I killed a person again"
"Why?" your voice gets stuck inside your throat as your chin quivers. Watching your shaky hand which was covered with blood, you start to cry.
"Did it not go well?" the comrade kneels down and holds your chin while you look at him in disgust. "I'll kill you" you harshly grab his collar as your tears starts to fall.
The comrade raises his hand in the air when the other armed force point their riffle at you. "Sir" the armed soldier who was pointing at you looks at the comrade. "Down" the comrade orders with a smirk and slaps your tight grip.
"You don't know what you did today" he, the comrade clicks his tongue as he fixes his collar. "Park Jiwoo" you shout his name in anger while abruptly getting up. "Ahhh didn't your father tell you who the patient was?" the comrade stands up, comes closer to your face and whispers. "What do you mean?" you frown.
"The one whom you kept searching for years. The one who was the reason why you always escaped this building. It's your mother, Shim Hayoon" the comrade sarcastically smiles. "What did you say?" your tongue begins to go numb. "So your father really didn't tell you?" the comrade acts surprised.
"Crazy bastard" you raise your hand to slap him but the armed force quickly pins you on the wall. "This is what you have to face" the comrade pocks his finger on your forehead while you struggle to escape the grip of the armed force.
"The sin that your mother committed will forever go down till your next generation. This is just the beginning, the worst is yet to come" the comrade says between his gritted teeth and leaves. Your father quickly hides at a corner who was eavesdropping the entire conversation between you and the comrade.
After the armed force leaves you and follows the comrade. You heavily plop down on the floor, screaming out your lungs till you lost your mind.
11:30 pm
You throw the cigarette butt in the dust bin of your room and take a sip of alcohol from the glass. Eyes watering while looking outside the sky, you again pull out a cigarette from the pack. You get interrupted by a loud sound when you were about to light the cigarette.
The loud sound sounded like gunshot. Your room was guarded 24/7 by the north korean soldiers. The only person who could meet you was the comrade and your father.
"What's going on" the continuous sound of gun shots made you curious and a bit scared. And then the door opens harshly, and your eyes widens in shock. "Abeonim" your words tremble when you see small drops of blood on his face while his black shirt soaked by blood.
"Let's go" he quickly snatches your wrist and pulls you out from the room. The shocking scene was, when you see all the soldiers dead outside your room. "Abeonim" you look at your father who was still dragging you toward the exit of the building. "I'll explain you everything but let's escape first" he says in his pain as the soldier had punched on his torso while he fought on the hallway.
"Appa this is scary. We gonna die" you cry while following him. "Till we get caught" he says.
"Over there" you hear the armed force's shout from far and turn back. "Y/N you know the exit right? I'll deal with them. Don't look back and just run okay?" your father stops and looks at you. "But Appa" looking at your shaky hand, your father cups your face. "Remember how we played hide and seek with your mom? When you were 5?" he asks you with lump in his throat, scared to leave you alone.
"Appa this is scary let's surrender" you panic. "No. I am the one who dragged you in this hell and I will be the one to free you. Even if my life is in the line" he smiles, his eyes tearing up.
"No, No you don't have to do it. I am not angry anymore. I won't blame you, I will stop that habit. I won't say hurtful words anymore. You wanted to save me that day right? Appa I am sorry. Please don't go" you shake your head aggressively while crying.
"Wait for me at the exit of the building hmm? There's a jeep. Just wait inside that. I promise you, I will be back" he pats your head for the last time and then leaves.
