Jungkook wakes up with a loud groan and squints his eyes at the bright light. Rubbing his eyes with both of his hand, he now looks around and finds you sleeping with legs crossed, back resting on the wall beside the door.
Then the door slides slowly, revealing the eunch Jaehyun. “Oh, your majesty-" “Shh" Jungkook keeps his finger over his lips looking at the eunch. “Shh” Jaehyun copies him and slowly walks toward Jungkook to get him changed.
"What happened?” Jungkook whispers to Jaehyun who was helping him to stand up.
"Miss ordered head of department of justice to carry you here and then nursed you whole night without letting anyone in" Jaehyun explain. “Head of department of justice? You mean Park Jimin?” Jungkook looks at Jaehyun in disbelief and he nods.
Jungkook then looks at you, curious to know why you helped him. “What exactly do you want from me?” Jungkook mumbles to himself. “Did you say something your majesty?” Jaehyun searches for Jungkook's face who was watching you sleep peacefully.
"No, you may go now" Jungkook instantly turns at him and smiles. “Are you feeling well? You seem healthy and fresh. Do you need my help to get you changed?” Jaehyun politely asks Jungkook.
"I’m not feeling nauseous anymore so I think I am okay now" Jungkook smiles and Jaehyun excuses himself, silently leaving without any disturbance.
Jungkook then walks toward you and kneels down, staring at you blankly while your lips curves into a smile like you were having a really nice dream but soon later the smile is replaced by a deep frown. “Why? What's wrong?” Jungkook wonders to himself when you start to murmur in your sleep.
A drop of tear falls from the corner of your eye and soon your murmur turns into a cry. “Eomma” you call your mother between your cry while Jungkook panics.
"Hey, Miss” Jungkook gets baffled when a hiccup escapes from your mouth. Your cry was inaudible but the expression showed pain. “E-Eomma" snivelling with erratic breathing, your eyes steadily flows a large volume of tears.
"Hey” Jungkook tries to wake you up from your dream but your eyes don't grip an energy to open.
"Han Hyuna" Jungkook then aggressively shakes your body to wake you up from your bad dream, and you wake up just to find Jungkook looking at your face with wide eyes. “Are you okay?” he asks you in concern and you quickly pull him into a tight hug, bursting out in tears.
"I killed my mother" you say between your cries while Jungkook freezes in his spot.
But few seconds later, he reciprocates and pats your back gently. “It was a bad dream" he whispers while you bury your face on his shoulder.
"Feeling okay now?” Jungkook slowly pulls you away after your hiccups faint away and you nod. Looking at your hurtful eyes, he wanted to ask you bunch of questions about yourself but he also wanted to make you feel comfortable first.
"I'm sorry" you awkwardly smile and then look over his shoulder which was wet because of your tears.
"Is your fever gone?” you wipe your tears and look at him. “Umm I am feeling okay" he nods with a smile and then suddenly you and Jungkook hear loud shouts.
"Her highness, you may not enter his room”
And the door harshly slides open, you see a foreign figure. You had never seen her while you were inside the palace. Her aura was luxurious, more than the royals. She was perfectly dressed with expensive ornaments and a light makeup which added a spark in her natural beauty.
“She's so beautiful”
"Areum-ah” Jungkook stands up, his face lighting up. “I was worried. How's your health?” she frowns as she scans Jungkook's body while you stare at both of them, feeling like third wheeler.
And then finally Areum looks at you with a disgust expression. “Wow so ugly” she scoffs and you get triggered by the way she insulted you. You abruptly stand up and think to fight back. “I’m not your mirror" you hiss at her and Jungkook gets baffled with the situation he was given.
"I was complementing you for a while and you had the audacity to insult me" you frown at her and turn around, angrily leaving the room.
"Miss" Jaehyun bows at you. “Wahh I am so pissed right now” you click your tongue and briskly walk outside the palace. “Hyuna-ya” Eunbi calls you while she runs after you.
