Bellatrix POV:

I woke up under a tree surrounded by gravestones. I groaned as I tried to move. It felt like I had been hit by a truck. I examined myself and quickly noticed my clothes had been changed to a strapless white dress that was paper-thin and only stopped at my mid-thigh. Runes were badly painted on my arms. I could tell they were runes but they were unreadable. My wounds had stopped bleeding but now I had a new worry, the cold.

"Damn it," I said as I tried to stand up but fell back. I took a deep breath and tried to stand up a few more times before giving in. I slumped back against the tree. I curled up into a small ball and tried to keep myself warm. I had no way to call for help and I couldn't even move. All I could do was hope someone would find me. I could feel the early stages of hypothermia starting as my body was trembling and I felt exhausted. My eyes started to close as I started slipping into sleep.

Suddenly I felt something warm draped over me. My eyes flashed open and I immediately threw a punch. The person who covered me dodged and looked at me in shock.

"Who the fuck are you?" I asked as I pressed myself as close to the tree as possible. He held up his hands and took a step back.

"My name is Alucard," he answered. Something about him felt inhuman and had my hair standing up. I glanced down at the thick jacket he had wrapped me in. I looked him over. He was tall with broad shoulders and was in black jeans and a band T-shirt. He wasn't reacting to the cold and was wearing black circle glasses with red lenses.

"What were you going to do to me?"

"Take you to the hospital." Something about the way he said it made me doubt him.

"What are you and what do you want from me?" I asked as I covered myself a bit more with his jacket.

"If I'm correct and he's not human then he must be the one they made the deal with. He doesn't want me dead otherwise he would have done so. Artemis, what have those idiots gotten me into?" I asked my patron Goddess.

"Not for me to say," she answered cryptically. I sighed but didn't argue the point, there is no arguing with Artemis.

He seemed frozen while I had this quiet mental battle.

"I already know you aren't human spit it out already," I snapped. He looked taken aback but quickly responded.

"I'm a vampire and you're my beloved. I was going to take you to my home to get you cleaned up." He seemed nervous after telling the truth but it eased my mind a bit. I at least knew what I was dealing with.

"What's a beloved? What rank of vampire? Also, I'm not going anywhere until my questions are answered," I said sternly. He smiled at me, showing his fangs.

"A beloved is what humans would call soul mates. I'm Alucard Vladislav Prince of the Vladislav Kingdom," he answered. I paused for a moment. I knew of the Vladislavs. They had taken over a majority of North America with their territory taking up over half of the United States and half of Canada. Our pack was in a non-aggression pact with them as we were right next to their borders.

I sighed and held my aching head.

"Alright... So let me get things straight. You're the prince of a vampire kingdom and you made some sort of deal with a fraternity for them to find your mate?" I asked as I looked up at him in disbelief.

"Yes... An Oracle told me that would be how I would meet you."

I could see he was slightly panicked about me not believing him.

"Wow... So how is this going to work?" I asked, barely keeping myself together.

"Umm... Well, you would either drop out of school or do online classes. You'd move into the castle and at some point, we would get married and turn you."
