Bakugo's POV:
I didn't understand. What was he apologizing for? This doesn't make any sense. Did he do something bad? I racked my brain for a reason but nothing turned up.
I sighed and went down to the cafeteria.I didn't see him down there either.
This is so confusing.
When class started again. He wasn't there. I asked Aizawa where his dorm was so I could drop off his homework.
Now I'm in front of his door, have been for like 3 minutes. I want to knock but I'm also scared. I don't want him to run off again.
Finally I muster the courage to knock.
"Who is it?" God I missed his voice.
"...It's Kat..." I say.
The door opens a little bit.
"What do you want?"
"Teach wanted me to give you the homework. It's due next week."
"Thank you." He goes to close the door but I force it open."We need to talk."
He doesn't protest. He knew it too."About?"
"Let's start with something simple. Why did you ghost me?"
He doesn't answer. Just stares wide-eyed at his blanket."Shoto."
"I was scared, ok?" He snaps."Scared? Of me?" I asked, worried.
"No! No of course not..." He trails off.
"Scared of a long distance relationship?" I ask.
He nods. Hugging himself.
"I didn't want to continue what we had, knowing there was a chance you could break my heart and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it." He confessed, seeming ashamed.
"I get it. That thought crossed my mind as well but I trusted you enough to believe that you wouldn't do that to me." I say.
"Ah." His voice cracks.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Not trusting you enough."
