The King had suggested his daughter and I get to know each other. And she thought what better way to get to know each other and than a walk through the village to the never ending meadow that only her and her father knew about.

"Should'nt we have guards", I asked a little worried.

"Why?" she wondered, looking surprised. I was genuinely surprised that she wasn't worried.

"Why, because of the townspeople! They might throw things at us!"

        "Why would they do that?"

       "Because-because because townspeople hate royalty!"

"No they don't, at least here they don't. Maybe it's because we treat them right."

I suppose that should make me angry, but it doesn't. I guess it's because she has a point, it makes sense. My father does treat our people wrong. I had always thought they were just jealous of us, that's what he told me anyway.

She then walked up to a random woman and said: "Hello Mary! How are you? How is your family?" They started talking and I just stood there in awe. The people loved her. I then decided to try to get them to like me as well.

I walked up to a girl about 13 with red hair and a blue, tattered dress, she was holding a loaf of bread. I said: "Hello, my name is Valerie, what is your name?

       "Gwen", she told me timidly.

"Gwen, what a pretty name. Do you have any brothers or sisters Gwen?" I asked.

"I have one brother and one sister." She told me.

"One brother and one sister", I repeated. And what are their names and ages?

"Jamison is 3 and Skylar is 17."

Oh so your'e the middle child. Well I'm an only child so I would'nt know, what is it like having siblings?

She smiled. "Well sometimes I like it but sometimes I don't." She told me

       "Oh? And why is that?"

"Well it's nice because my sister gives me her clothes when she outgrows them, and my brother is really cute, but my sister and I have to take care of him and he doesn't always listen to us."

         "Oh, I see"

        "Valerie,  c'mon!" Snow White called.

"Well I have to go now Gwen but I expect I shall see you again?"

       "Yes",she agreed.

        "Farewell." I said

        "Farewell."she said back.
