Chapter 5: Summoning a familliar

~ Kalego POV ~

l turned to see Aya running toward me.

I was about to scold her for running in the classroom before the roof wall crumble.

I didn't have time to cast any magic spells and close my eyes ready for impact.

" Sensei! " l heard someone scream my name.

" Kelego-sensei! Open your eyes! " as l opened my eyes.

The first thing I saw was Aya kneeling beside me.

When l looked above, l can explain that she cast some sort of barrier above us to prevent the roof wall crashing on us.

I don't know why but my heart feel warm but worried at the same time.

" Sensei! You need to move now my spell won't last long " she said with a tired tone.

Its looked like that it take a lot of mana from her.

Do not want to burden her any longer, l move while carry her in my arm.

" Sensei! I can walk on my own, please put me down! " she said and my reply was silent so she when quiet too.

The other student was shocked to see me holding her like this.

After we move her spell broke and the roof wall began to collapse.

She told me to put me down so l do as she wanted.

Iruma run past me and start hugging her sister.

He was follow by Asmodeus and Clara.

Somehow l feel envy but l do not know why so l just frowned.

" Hey! Familiar-sensei why did you just... " l glared at them for them to stop speaking.

Then I glaced at Iruma who is trying to stop her sister from doing something.

I walked toward them about to asked what are they trying to do.

And appear before my eyes the collapse wall from the roof began to restore like before.

Aya was holding Iruma hand for support while she cast some spell that l never heard off.

At first l expect that she will be annoying demon like Iruma or the principal.

But never would l have thought that she caught me to be interest in her ability.

As l was lost in my thought, a demon fruit appear before me brought me back to reality.

" l'm sorry about before sensei! "

" Please accept this as an apologize " Aya looked down not facing me.

I smirked.

Putting my finger under her chin and use it to raise her head.

" Please don't look down when talking with me, you got that " she nodded and l patted her head.

She smiled together with Iruma who is relief to see her sister did not get any punishment while the other face turn shocked.

" Good and now...how about we go to the summoning room " l said while walking out of class.

" Wait! Why do we need to go there to? " said Lied.

" Yeah! We already have a familliar! " added Sabnock.

Then the student start to complaint.

Began to get annoyed so I glared at them as a sign to be silent.
