- Napping can actually be pretty beneficial. But in this story, that's just not the case. One fine, calm, warm afternoon, Gaea decides to take a snooze in the sun. She slept on her back of course, because she didn't want to get a tan on just half of her face, nor a faceful of earth. Now, here comes the fun science-y part - Gaea's breath is, regrettably, quite warm. Since heat rises, her respirations made their way all the way up to Mount Olympus.
- Nobody really appreciates being breathed on, as was the case with the other gods. It got so hot up there, some of them had to take a second to make sure they weren't in Tartarus! (Not to mention the pure stench...) So, naturally, everyone just complained, because they either didn't want to or didn't know how to make it dissipate. Zeus was getting tired of hearing everyone whine, but he had no idea how to solve the problem.
