Chapter 1

♣️Lucy's pov(point of view)♣️
Natsu, Erza, and me were all going home from a job.
We were on the train, so Erza had knocked Natsu out so he didn't complain about his motion sickness, he was resting his head on my lap, I looked at him, he's cute when he sleeps, I thought, wait! What am I thinking!! I looked out the window and then at Natsu again, he really was cute.
Happy and Erza started a conversation but I couldn't make out what they were saying, I was still looking at Natsu, could it be that I'm... No I just like him as a friend, we're just...friends...
"Lucy...lucy!" Huhh? I said looking up
"We're almost there, start waking Natsu up, me and happy will get our stuff" Erza said heading with happy were our bags were.
I was about to sake Natsu, "l-lucy..." Natsu said under his breath. did he wake up? "Lucy I ..." Natsu said again, he was talking in his sleep, "lucy I l..." My heart started racing, he isn't going to say what I'm thinking is he?! "I lo-" he started saying, but before he could finish I hit him in the head "ouch! What the-... what was that for Luce?" Natsu asked rubbing his head, " sorry, I didn't mean to, are you ok?" I asked him " yeah, I'm ok" he said giving me a smile. the train stopped, "we're here guys" Erza said coming back with our stuff, "lets go" I said "hai" Natsu said.
We were outside heading towards the guild, Natsu was walking next to me happy, was flying beside Natsu, and Erza was in front of us. I'm so stupid why did I hit Natsu in the train....but what was going to say before I hit him?.....could it be that he was going to say.....no,no what am I thinking, Natsu likes lisanna, he'll never have a thing for me, I'm so foolish, I thought shaking my head. we just arrived in front of the guild, Natsu went and kicked the door open, "we're back!" He shouted, "welcome back" greeted Mira "hi Mira" I said smiling at her "how was you job?" She asked "it was good, and for once Natsu didn't destroy the whole place" I said "well that's a good thing" Mira said cheerfully "oi, has Gray come back from his job with Juvia?" Natsu asked "no, they haven't come back yet" Mira told him "my gruvia ship might actually come true" I heard mira mutter under her breath as she walked off towards the bar, "guys I'll be going to my apartment, I need to unpack my bags, I'll see you guys tomorrow" I told them "ok see you tomorrow lucy" Erza said smiling at me, then she turned around and headed towards the bar " oi Luce, stay a little longer" Natsu said "no Natsu I need to get to my apartment" I told him "but luce, I'll be bored without you" Natsu said pouting, "I can't stay Natsu "ok, bye Luce"natsu said kind of disappointed "bye Natsu" I said.

I got home and unpacked my bags, I took a quick shower and went to bed, I lay awake and thought about what Natsu was about to say at the train, could it be that maybe he...likes me? I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
