A/N~ This was a poem I wrote for my best friend, Emily.

you are
as to what one could call
a friend

as rain is to droplet
as petal is to flower
as heat is to flame
as castle is to tower

as buzz is to fly
as tear is to eye
as painful to cry
as hopeful to die

now why.

as i crossed the road to devil's lane
i find you
a lost soul
could i say?

but why could that matter
with your sea blue eyes
those who have cried
maybe too much

fixed with a plaster
to mend, you said
but maybe all you needed
was love instead

to heal
to grace
to travel
from place to place

arrived at here
the destination
my heart and yours
our own friendship creation

yes you are
what one could call
a friend
(for forever and all)
