We're going to be famous!

Today was the sports festival. After tremendous amounts of training I'm more skilled. I learned more techniques and got way more faster and stronger. But I also took major beat downs from the upperclassmen.

We were on the bus heading to the stadium.

"I've been waiting all week for this," I said. "My adrenaline is rushing!" Chal responded. I wonder what today would've been like if I dropped out of UA. I see the stadium from afar. "Looks like we're here," I said to myself.

Everyone walks into the building and goes to our designated resting rooms. Chal and I weren't in the same one unfortunately.

I saw Bakugou screaming at someone like the usual. Something wasn't usual though. He wasn't talking to me nor was he even glancing a look at me. Did I do something wrong? Why am I so worried about him? Maybe if I ignore him he'll come crawling back to me.

I shrugged those thoughts off my mind and headed to the field.

I gasped at the sight of the audience. There were so many people here, it was incredible! Do I look good? All of the other classes were here as well.

Midnight walked up the stage. Everyone was making comments about how her outfit was too much for the teenage boys. She should be able to wear what she wants. It's the boys that need to stop sexualizing her outfit.

"I'm going to pick one of you to give us our speech," Midnight said. "You," She pointed. Bakugou? UA was complaining and heavily concerned about what he was going to say.

"I pledge that i'll be number one,"  Bakugou said. What the hell? Everyone started booing him. "Damn y/n your boyfriend is kind of a buzzkill," Chal teased. "It's not like that I
swear-" I was cut off by a boy. He had purple hair and eyebags. He reminded me of Aizawa a little bit.

"You're too good for that yapping mutt," The boy said. Kirishima started eyeing him from the crowd. "You should go with someone worth your energy," "Someone like them," He pointed off to the distance. I tried to find who he was pointing at. I turned to look back at him but he had vanished. What was that all about?

I looked for Chal and saw her talking to Kirishima. Gosh they look so cute. Someone grabbed my shoulder. I looked to see Todoroki. "Before the festival starts I need to talk to you," He said. I got nervous.

I followed him to a hallway and he backed me into a wall. "I have an important question for you," Todoroki asked. "Your  parents are hero's right?" He asked. "Yeah, My whole family is made up of heroes." I answered. "Then you must understand the pressure to become a hero then," Todoroki said. My eyes widened. "Expected to become a hero like your parents," "You get it right?" I nodded in response.

"Then that must mean we're both hiding a part of our quirk to prove that we can do better without using it," I said back, leaving him a bit in shock. "So you have two quirks like me?" Todoroki asked. The vibe went from serious to comical with one sentence. "Well technically yes but no," I stammered. How do I explain without spilling my secret. "Do you have a grudge against your dad too?" Todoroki asked. He looked like a confused dog. "Well no, I have a grudge against someone else," I said.

You're a monster! You're going to hurt someone. Someone stop this monster before she hurts anyone else! If you don't stop you'll destroy everything...

"Well then," "I guess at this point until the end of the festival we'll be rivals," Todoroki said. "As long as you won't hold back then I won't," I said. We both nodded and went to the field.

"We'll be spinning to see what events we'll be doing!" Midnight called out. She pulled down the lever and the board started spinning. "Our first event is the Obstacle race," " And The next event is the Cavalry Battle,"

"I'm going to win," Bakugou said. I looked at him in a 'what the fuck' type of way. What has gotten into him. Just for that i'm going to outshine that bastard.

Everyone got ready, awaiting for the doors to open. The green light shined and everyone went running.

I used my speed to catch up to the top four, Iida, Todoroki, Bakugou, and ... MIDORYIA? I was able to catch up to Todoroki. We gave each other the side eye and went back to doing our thing.

Then we got to the hard part. The mines. Midoryia was using a metal part as a sled. Maybe If I jump from the Mine I can get a good boost and win!

I had to time my jump perfectly. Now! I jumped from the impact.

"Take a look at that!" "Y/n has used the mines to get a boost!" Mic announced.

I wasn't paying attention and was about to land on midoryia. "AHHH," We both yelled. I kicked his back, BIG mistake. I GAVE HIM A SPEED BOOST ON ACCIDENT.

"Y/n gave Midoryia a speed boost?" Mic said in confusion.

I finished third. On my way back to the stands I cursed under my breath as I walked angrily to the break room.

"Are you alright?" Chal asked. "I could've won if I didn't crash land on poor Midoryia," I whined. "Don't worry about it," "You still have the other events to make up," Chal said, patting my back. "I guess you have a point," I said.

"Oh yeah Nezu gave me these exemption passes," Chal said. "He said we could skip the Cavalry battle to watch the second years do their event," Chal said. "It's starting in 5 minutes we better hurry!" I panicked.

We made it just in time for the Second year event. The screen said that they were doing wall obstacles. There were two giant walls with obstacles.

I need to look for a tall white haired girl.

I spotted Ryo ahead of everyone.

"Damn y/n your sister is always ahead," Chal said in awe.

She's always been very good at doing anything. Give her an impossible obstacle course with lava at the bottom and she'll get through it without hesitation.

I've always envied that side of her. Usually I can do a lot of things very well, but I just can't put my full potential into things.  I'm always scared that the worst case scenario might happen. Like i'll mess everything up beyond repair.

That's why she's so annoying to me. She's always better than me at everything and it pisses me off. Always happy, always ahead of everyone. Why can't I be ahead for once?

Ryo is way stronger than you. You're the ugly sibling. You'll never be at our level. Just use that shitty quirk of yours and you won't be so damn weak. That's why you're always behind.

Don't think of those memories. Think about the festival.

"Yeah she's doing pretty good," I said.

Ryo was jumping and climbing, almost at the finish line. Then, a man with a stretchy limb quirk dragged her down. Ryo god damn it don't fall!

Ryo pulled a fencing sword from her stomach and poked the guys eye lightly, making him let go.

Nice save Ryo! Why am I cheering for her? Wasn't I just complaining about how much she's better than me?

"And as expected, class 2-A student [last name] Ryo has made it out first!" Mic announced.

(I know we skipped calvary race and all so it's not logical because i needed an excuse to not have to write that part)

I got up and started cheering for her. It was as if my body went in auto plane mode. Maybe it's okay to be happy for my older sister sometimes...

"y/n we need to hurry to the battle matches!" Chal said. "You're right!" I said. We both started running scooby doo style to the field.
