"Xi Lan." I hear my husband's voice calling from behind me. I stand, my 50 inch long, shiny, loosely curled, black to periwinkle ombré hair blew in the wind like a beautiful kite being flown in the light of dawn. My bright teal eyes shimmered and sparkled in the sunset as I turned to look at my one, my only, my love. Zhongli was my husband of many moons, and we were expecting our first child in precisely one week, two hours and fifteen minutes. Though I wasn't able to tell which gender my newborn offspring will be or what traits they will inherit, I was able to predict the time and date of my child's birth because I am a god, specifically, the archon of magic.

I smile at Zhongli as I rub my plump, child filled abdomen, feeling my son and or daughter adventuring inside my womb. With a flushing face, I spoke. "Zhongli, my love, you've come to visit us?" Zhongli was distant towards me ever since my pregnancy began around nine months ago, but he still loved me. Being the archon of magic, I am able to feel the emotions and thoughts running through each and every living thing, from the grass we step on to bipedal human beings, and yes, even other archon's.

Our eyes locked as I patiently awaited his answer. "Well my love," His deep, rich voice would soothe me as if giving me a massage. Shivers went down my spinal cord every time he spoke. It was truly a wonderful tone of voice. "I have decided to give you a surprise." I gasped, swiftly lifting my pale, soft, smooth hands over my rose red lips, my two inched, glossy, teal colored, and filed nails rested on my blushing cheeks.

"A surprise?" I inhaled, trying to hold back a shriek of excitement. As I began to calm, my husband continued his sentence. "Yes, I will be staying by your side until our child is born." My blueish eyes widened as they began to water from the stimulation. I shivered as tears exited my eyes like a waterfall. "Really Zhongli?" My throat quivered, "I know you're just so busy, you don't have to worry about us." After my response, Zhongli would press his body against mine as we began a loving embrace. "But I want to worry. You're my everything, and soon, we'll have a little one running around."

"Speaking of our child," Zhongli would carry on the conversation to my glee. This was the first time in months we had a genuine conversation and desire to speak to one another. "Do you suppose he'll be an archon? As are we?" I thought for a good few minutes about Zhongli's question, thinking of a way to respond. With each passing second I thought of all the possible outcomes. "It is possible, yes, but I am unsure about it." We continued our embrace as our eyes met once again. "Also, Zhongli," I continued, fluttering my long, dark eyelashes, "What do you mean by he? Our child could just as well be a fair maiden." With that, Zhongli ended the embrace and gently pulled himself away. Putting his fingers in his medium lengthed brown to gold ombré hair, "I'm just saying. But imagine, me training my son to become a fierce warrior. It would be euphoric."

Our conversation ended on that note and the both of us would look into the sky which was being lit by the setting sun. It was gorgeous at evening.
