Third pov (their ages are: 5 & 6)
Jin and Namjoon were playing with the hot wheel cars when they heard a crash coming from downstairs "what was that, Hyung?" Little Namjoon asked his older friend as he moved closer to him. Little Jin hugged his friend as an instinct to protect the younger. "It was the monsters downstairs!" he felt the younger flinch "but don't worry because not only does Hyung have you protected, but Ting ting does too!" He then grabbed the small stuffed animal that was next to him. It was blue Valentine's Day dog that smelled like blueberries on it's butt it said 'I woof you'. Jin gave the stuffed animal to Namjoon, who grabbed the stuffie and hugged it with all his 5 year old strength. They then heard footsteps coming to the room and saw Jin's mom with bruises littered all over her face. "Hey boys do you wanna go to the park with me?" The two boys nodded their heads and they got out of the house and into the car.
Third pov (ages: 8 & 9)
"No no that's not how you do it! Here let me show you" Jin was currently trying to teach Namjoon how to play Mario kart, but it wasn't really working out for him.... "I got 11th place!!" Namjoon looked at Jin and smiled. Jin trying to be nice smiled back "that's a step closer to 1st place!" The two flinched when they heard screaming. "
YOU ARE JUST A FUCKING USELESS LAZY BITCH, SOOYOUNG." Namjoon moved closer to Jin while the older hugged him. Both of them following rule 6: never go downstairs while the two are yelling. You may be wondering 'why don't they hang out at Namjoon's place?' Namjoon's parents aren't the greatest, they treat him like he is a bother. They neglect him, which makes him feel like it is his fault. The two boys heard footsteps coming towards the room and saw Jin's mom coming in the room, this time with a bloody lip. She smiled weakly at the two boys "who wants to go out for ice cream?"
Third pov (ages 10-11)
"Put that piece right there, then that piece belongs there" the two boys were currently in Jin's room making a pirate lego ship. Jin was telling the directions while Namjoon was putting the pieces together. Soon the ship was done and they got the little lego people and started acting. "But captain! There is a storm ahead of us!" Namjoon was playing as the worker and Jin was playing the captain "we need the diamonds as soon as possible I will not stop to get th-"
"JUST FUCK OFF JAEHYUNG" the two boys heard yelling once more. This time it didn't affect them. They were used to it. They continued to play pirate, but didn't say anything as they didn't want to make the situation downstairs worse. Soon they heard footsteps and saw Jin's mom by the door "are you guys up for a walk to the toy store?"
Third pov (ages: 13-14)
"Jin, I need to tell you something" Namjoon says as he and Jin lay in the older boy's room watching some show. "Sure, what is it Joonie?" Namjoon sits up and stares at Jin "I think, I'm not attracted to girls, I mean when I see them and they try to get with me, I just don't care for them." Jin looks at Namjoon with a little smile "I know exactly how you feel, I am attracted to boys and find them more appealing than girls, and that is totally okay, because it is your life and you can love whoever the hell you want" Namjoon then looked up at Jin, making eye contact with him "w-what if I love you" jin hugged Namjoon and pecked his forehead "what if I love you too" they both smile and enjoy the moment "so does that make us lovers?" "Yes, joon, it does."
Soon the two heard screaming and yelling. "What do you think they always argue about, Hyung?" Jin sighed "anything and everything, How are your parents?" Namjoon rolled his eyes at the word 'parents' "they are doing fine, especially when they don't see me, I'm surprised I'm not up for adoption" Namjoon tried to crack a joke and chuckled at it , but stopped as soon as he saw his new lover's face serious "don't ever joke about that again, I never would want to think of you being away from me." They heard footsteps and saw Jin's mom once again "so boys I heard there is this good move out at the theaters, wanna go and check it out?"
Third pov (ages: 15-16)
"No I love you more" the two boys have been dating for two years, in private obviously, since being in same sex relationships at that time was not safe. The two boys were in Jin's room cuddling and kissing each other. Namjoon sat up and looked at Jin. "What do I have something on my face?" Jin started wiping his face to see if he did. "No just handsomeness" the two boys laughed at Namjoon's nonsense.
"THATS IT I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE" the two boys heard footsteps coming to the door and saw it open harshly "Namjoon I'm going to drop you home, Jin start packing some stuff." Jin looked at his mother weirdly but obeyed her command. As for Namjoon, he was confused and scared, but complied to Jin's mother's request. After he was dropped off, Mrs. Kim went back inside to Jin's room and saw him zipping his suitcase up. She started packing as well and as soon as she was finished she grabbed hers and his suitcase and put them in the car with Jin following her. She got in the drivers seat while Jin got in the passenger's seat "Mom where are we going" his mom started the car and drove "somewhere far away"
Third pov
After Jin left, Namjoon's life had been worse. At 16 His dad left, his mother blamed him and started ignoring him. He had to get 2 jobs to hold him up for himself. The kids at his school found out his sexuality and started beating him to the point he would be sent to the hospital. Namjoon's mom found out next, and kicked him out of the house. He then started living off the streets.
He swore an angel came when a man named Hoseok saw the poor 16 year old and took him in his care. That's where he met his Angel's other friend Jungkook, who was a rookie cop at the time.
When he turned 17 Hoseok and Jungkook helped him learn self defense, and other life tricks. They taught him that only his opinion matters if it was about him. Finally Namjoon decided to tell his friends about his first love.
You would think his first love would just be, well his first love, but jin was different, he was there for him. Jin knew Namjoon since birth. He loved him for him, they had such special times. Hoseok and Jungkook swore that they would help Namjoon find out where Jin was when he was 18. Finally that night, Namjoon slept peacefully with his stuffed animal, Ting Ting

Wow I'm actually remaking this book. I'm obviously gonna put more to the plot, more details, and change some stuff, also please if the grammar and stuff doesn't make sense, I made this April 3rd at 5:37 am I've had no sleep for 24 hours LEAVE ME BE
