"Mommm!!" I yelled from upstairs, "yes sweetie?" she answered back, "When will dad and Alucard come back?" I asked, "After they are done with the mission, why?" she asked back,
"Just asking.." I lied, I wasn't "just asking" Tom my long term boyfriend- I mean ex-boyfriend cheated on me, and I wanted to tell Alucard, but all my phone calls can be traced by my parents, and if my dad found out, he will kill Tom.
I mean who needs a boyfriend right? I will just invite Nasica, my best friend, who is the daughter of the Spanish Mafia.
She cancelled the plan, what did I expect, the only friend I have is my brother, and that's it-
"Muriiii!" my mom yelled "Yes" I replied, "Your brother and father came!" didn't she say they are coming in less than a week?
"Dad! Alucard!" I ran as I hugged them tightly, my dad and I have a bond no one can break, I'm daddy's girl, but this time, my dad wasn't smiling when he came back, "whats wrong?" I asked
"sweetie let's go to your dads office okay?" my mom said, "okay?" it was a silent walk, what was happening?
"Sooo... Whats wrong?" I asked, "Muriel you are already 23 years old, and you need to have a man beside you.." "and?" "But what about tom-" my mom asked "no tom is not gonna marry my daughter! Let me continue" where was this conversation leading to? "So me and your mother, agreed that you will have a arranged marriage-" "A ARRANGED MARRIAGE, I'm not gonna marry anyone!" "Let me continue Muriel!" I listened to what my father had to say.
"You will get married to the son of the Italian Mafia, and I'm sure he is on the way, you both need to get to know each other before the wedding" "But father! I Dont agree on this- mom! Please tell him, help me!" "Muriel I love you but me and your father think this is the best for you" "Why do i need a man?!" my dad stood up angrily and said "When your brother takes place instead of ME, your brother won't be there to save you! He won't be there to talk to you!" I tried my best not to cry, I'm not weak, it's just so weird having my dad yell at me.
"Fin-" our doorbell had rang, "Its them, I will go get them here honey" my mom said to my dad,
"Muriel, dont do anything silly, okay?" "okay.." minutes pass until we hear my dads office door open, "And this is Muriel Agestra, and of course Jude Agestra" there stood a tall and sexy man in front of me, is this my future husband??
"Muriel meet Lucius Handri, your future husband, and his mom, Nina Handri" my mom said pointing at me, "Is this my wife?" Lucius asked.
LUCIUS POV:
2 hours back (into the ride...)
"Mom, I Dont want to marry this random girl" I said, I turly didn't want to, what if she is a psychopath? "Lucius we talked about this, this is for your future-" "But mom I Dont want to get a clingy wife, who ever she is I won't love her!" "Lucius! Higher your tone with me, I'm driving back home, and instead of me driving you and lecturing you it will be your father!" I stayed silent to whole ride.
"We reached, you will act like the gentleman I raised you understand?" "Yes." "good, now let's go", we rang the doorbell and waited, and then a kind lady approached us, "Welcome Nina! I'm Ryle Cayru" "You must be the wife of the British don?" "Yes, come in, and Lucius your future wife is upstairs, follow me" future wife huh? I didn't want to have a "future wife" but whatever.
"Here is where they both are" she opened the handle and there stood a goddess looking at me, she had long black hair and grey eyes you would die for, that's the wife I will marry?
