Chapter 1
The prophecy is yet to be fulfilled. The child will soon reach the age for the seal of protection to be broken. After 10 long awaited years, the time has finally arrived to take the life of the fruit of Satan for the sake of our long awaited peace.Recently an intense feeling of insecurity kept seeping from underneath my skin leaving my skin hair straight up right, although nothing has changed. I was still laying on the same cold hard ground with the same steel metal chains that were dangling around my wrist legs and neck. I try to blend in with the sheer dark shadows that roamed around my empty cell but I couldn't help but stand out. I still felt the same lonely presence of the frosty stale air that kept me company all these years.
No... there was another feeling that roamed around the hallway. The soft whispers that seeps through the lips of the soldiers that keeps guard got louder. Although i couldn't make out the words... But even though my ears couldn't fit a clear word inside my head, sweat started to rise to the surface of my skin and began to bead on my forehead. Then it slowly began to crawl down from the side of my face and made its way to the peak of my chin. The droplet of sweat dropped down like a tears and stained the concrete floor as if marking territory. Suddenly my head started beating faster than a pulse. As if my brain was to shatter. I ran my fingers through my pigment yellow hair and I tightly grabbed my head as i fell down to my knees. I forcefully closed my eyes and started crouching, trying to keep my nitroglycerin filled head from detonating. Then suddenly I heard a sound similar to a glass shatter. I felt like a lost marine animal that lost its tank, as if some sort of armour that protected me disappeared leaving me naked. I opened my eyes to find my body lying on the hard ground with a puddle of sweat soaking it. I felt as if I lost something that was precious to me yet not aware of its existence.
I picked myself up from the mud puddle I created and tried to walk forgetting I was wearing heavy jewellery called chains. My feet stumbled and I fell hitting my leg hard on the ground. I suddenly sensed an irritating sensation on my leg. I slowly made my self to be in a siting position with my back leaned against the wall. I drew my knee toward my direction. I was shocked to find a fluid with a dark shade of crimson was creeping through my leg. The irritation grew stronger, fear and confusion started flooding my mind. I was confused since I've never experienced this type of scenario. I have never felt this feeling and was unable to put it to words. The blood kept flowing and dripping down my leg in the same manner as sweat. I gave a loud scream that echoed through the hallway yet no one came to my aid.
Finally I heard the sound of an open creek through the metal door and a pale glow of light slipped through the door step, driving the cold shadows to the corners of my prison cell.
7 fully armed soldiers came marching in to my cell with chains, swords and whips on hand. With fear clouding my eyes I started pressing my self harder against the wall. They removed my old jewellery and attached me to new ones. We stepped out of my cell and started walking through the main hallway. The main hallway was guarded with 300 soldiers. I felt their cold dark eyes glaring while pressing there teeth together forming a frightening grin. My heart was beating faster than a beating drum and sweat started running down my tan shirtless body. The metal ring around my neck started piercing my skin and more blood kept leaking through my skin. Now I could feel that irritation all over my body and I detested this feeling though I kept quite. We finally reached the main gate which the outside world lies on. "Am I finally gonna be able to step foot in the outside world!". My mind was filled with shock and curiosity yet I was still afraid. My life was spent with loneliness, fear and darkness. The soldiers who kept guard always shared nothing but those cold eyes and frightening grins at me. The main gate started opening. My eyes widened as seconds stretched in to minutes and minutes felt like hours.
The gate slowly open and suddenly a large beam of light struck me as it forced my eyes shut. My eyes slowly opened as I gazed upon a wonderful scenery filled with light and colour. It felt like entering a whole other dimension. The atmosphere was surrounded by many tall trees with bright green leaves which were fixed to the dusty yet sparkling sandy ground and the sea blue sky with soft white clouds watching over this wonderful place. I spaced out as my mind wondered, amazed by the outside world for a few moments but brought back to reality with a slight tap on my shoulder. A man with pale skin and snow white hair stood in front of me. He placed his hand on my shoulder and bent down on his knees. He looked at me with his crystal blue eyes and said
"From now on you will be trained on being a fighter for Kusano nation and you will be under my care" and gave me a loving smile. I was surprised that for the first time I received a different expression from those cold monstrous eyes. The guards took off the metal chains and I felt at ease.
I realised that my hands and feet were still bruised. Drops of blood started staining the sandy ground and the irritation grew stronger. I was distracted with the outside world I forgot all about the bruises. Tears started to flow out without a stop. I held my hands and cried "Make it stop!".He pulled out a piece of white clothing and gently rapped it around my wrist, neck and legs. He held my hands up to his chest and smiled. With a caring voice he started
"This should do for now, we will treat it as soon as we get home."
"H-home?, I -I have a home?" I stuttered.I didn't have any idea of what a home is but the word made me all warm and fuzzy inside. He smiled and carefully nodded. We got on a Carriage with two beige stallions up in front. We travelled until the golden sun went in to hiding behind the tall steep mountains as night fall began. The air grew colder and the wind started whistling a lullaby as I slowly fell asleep to it.
