One Step At A Time

Prologue

Running through the dense, dark forest that surrounded the hell I managed to escape from, I laughed. I felt free! The clean air that surrounded me felt amazing as I breathed. I run faster, that growing felling you get when you run envelopeing me as branches whip past me. ' Allmost free Amber, just keep running'. My heart starts to pound as I hear the dogs start to bark. They relies that Im gone, and have let loss the dogs. I continue to run, and hope to gain distance.

Hours later, I'm leaning against a tree, catching my breath. I start to laugh. I'm free. Finally free from that hell hole. I bring in a deep breath and yell at the top of my lungs,

" you thought you could keep me, but now you lost me. Serves you fuckers right"

As I listen to the echo, another sound catches my ear. A twig snapping. I turn around fast, causeing me to slip, and I catch my breath. A giant WOLF is standing in front of me.

'Oh no. And when I just got out. I'm going to die. Fan-fucking-tastic'.

The wolf looks at me with red eyes, scaring the living shit out of me. The wolf was black, and half of its left ear was missing.
"Ok look, I just got out of that horrid shit hold, and now I'm going to die, and I'm talking to a wolf. I really am crazy! Just end it already!"
As I say this I've closed my eyes and am now waiting for the wolf to attack. And all I hear is silence, until I hear laughter. I look toward the wolf and see not a wolf, but a human man! The next thing that happens I will never be able to forget, and he will never let me hear the end of it.

I fainted.

'Goddammit all, this is bull shit!'
