"I'm sorry, I'm confused. Who's listening?" I asked. Something's been happening to the missing citizens...recently. But what? We went inside, and Lukas locked all the doors and windows and rushed us down to the basement. Okay, things were getting weird. "No one knows what happened to the missing citizens, but I have a feeling there's been a dark disturbance lurking in the shadows, taking each victim, with no trace of a clue." He said, completely creeping me out. But then it hit me. Dark disturbance? Is that what Ethan sent us here to do? defeat that disturbance and free the prisoners? Both of them stared at me in confusion. I said that out loud, didn't I? This is the part where I have no choice but to explain, isn't it? I let out a sigh. "I was sent here to find a dark disturbance somewhere on the mainland. Unfortunately, I got distracted and got lost in the woods. All of a sudden, I was attacked by some sort of shadow. I didn't get to see what it looked like, but it trapped me under a tree. That's where Aiden found me." I explained. They looked at each other, then back at me. "Wait, you were a victim of the dark disturbance? Why?" Lukas asked. Come to think of it, I had no idea why I was attacked. "I don't know...it must be after certain people. think about it. What did you and your group do together recently?" I asked. Lukas looked down, processing this information. "Well...we haven't been in the same place at once since..." Aiden paused. Lukas' face lit up. "The Fear Leader's Wrath!" They said at once. The Fear Leader's Wrath? Why did that seem so familiar? Was I missing something? "But...what does that have to do with our friends? Wait...you don't think...she's back, do you?" Lukas wondered. Aiden looked a bit nervous. "I don't understand. No one could survive that explosion..." Explosion? But...I was in an explosion! And I survived! Did this wrath have to do with my memories? It's strange...Aiden looked saddened as well. Is it personal? I then had a quick vision in my mind. I could've sworn I saw Aiden in it. I heard my voice. "Aiden! Help!" I yelled. He turned around, looking frightened. "I'm coming!" He yelled, running as fast as he could. I heard a big boom, And then...nothing. I lost it. "Are you alright? You seem panicked." Aiden asked after I snapped out of it. My heart rate has increased, perhaps I wasn't alright...but I didn't want to worry them. "I'm alright, just tired." I lied. I needed to lay down for a bit, so I guess it was a white lie. There were a lot of things rushing through my head. It felt like deja vu, meeting Aiden, then Lukas. I know I've met them before...I just don't remember it. It was all a bit...new to me I guess. I went upstairs after they wished me a goodnight's rest. I needed to see if I could get those memories back. Maybe meditating will help? I entered one of the guest bedrooms and lay on the bed. It seemed like forever since I had peace. Where I lived with Ethan there was nothing but factory noises. We lived in an industrial city where factory products and tech-based products were popular. To be honest, I never really liked it. I don't remember having time to enjoy the silence...ever. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
