Award Show

2 weeks later...

It's the day of the award show.

The day they've been planning and waiting for.

The day that Lauren couldn't stop jumping about 2 weeks ago but one text changed that. Now she's just, full of fear.

They were in there dressing rooms in the hotel, Camila was in a separate one while Lauren was also in a separate one. Camila was getting inside her dress and Lauren, Lauren was putting on her makeup.

She was told to meet Camila outside the hotel for they can walk out together.

That's what she was told.

David walked into Lauren's dressing room.

"You know the plan?" He asked Lauren.

"Uh yeah... walk in and walk out in the middle of the awards... are you sure we shouldn't tell Camila about this? This feels wrong. I don't want to be apart of this anymore." Lauren started to panic.

"Camila will understand and you can't turn back now. This is what it takes to be someone." David advised and walked out.

Lauren put her head in her hands and started to feel tears pouring down her face.

The next thing you know, a knock is at the door.

Lauren quickly wiped away her tears and went to open the door, and she was greeted with Camila who looked lovely by the way. Camila wore a smile but it broke when she saw Lauren in tears.

"Hey hey hey baby, come here." Camila cooed Lauren who went in for a hug. "What's wrong? Are you nervous? We don't have to go if your not ready."

"N-no, i'm just... i'm nervous is all." Lauren took a deep breath.

"Your going to do great okay, don't worry darling." Camila whispered in Lauren's ear as she put a piece of Lauren's hair behind her ear and kiss her forehead. "Now let's touch up your make up and get going, we don't want to be late."

Lauren smiled, wiped her tears and sat down while Camila fixed her makeup.

Arriving at the red carpet-

Camila stuck her hand out for Lauren, with everyone shouting and screaming, the lights flashing. This was Lauren's biggest fear... large crowds like this, feeling tight, she didn't like it.

When Canul realized Lauren's eyes turn dark, she knew she was afraid. Camila squeezed Lauren's hand and stared into her eyes. "It's just you and me.." She whispered, making Lauren calm again.

While walking the red carpet, Lauren did better and didn't freak, and that's exactly how she hoped it would go.

The awards started, the girls were in the third row of the audience. It was quiet at first until Taylor swift started to open up the show with a performance for her song "Bad blood."

After Taylor's performance, and another couple of them. They started to present awards,

"And the winner for best pop vocals is... CAMILA CABELLO!" Liam Payne shouted into the microphone, making people go absolutely crazy!

Camila got up with a huge smile and gave a kiss to Lauren who congratulated her. Camila went up the stairs with everyone still clapping and hugged Liam. She then went to the microphone and said her speech that she practiced for.

After Camila presented her speech, she went backstage to get ready for her performance. She felt bad for leaving Lauren in the crowd but Lauren sat besides Harry Styles so she was fine.

"Now for our next performance, give it up for Camila Cabello!" Alicia, the host of the show welcomed Camila to the stage.

Lauren was excited for Camila's song and setup performance, she hasn't seen it since Camila wanted it to be a surprise.

Camila doesn't like going all out on her performances but she liked this one... and was sure about this one.

She sat down on a stool, with her guitar, and the spotlight on her. She waited for the crowd to settle down before she strummed the first strings.

She sang living proof.

In the middle of the performance the screen behind her became a slideshow of her and Lauren.

Lauren covered her mouth when she saw it, her eyes immediately started to tear up. The feelings she felt with Camila became stronger... too strong. She loved it. The feeling. No one has ever done this for her.

Camila soon walked over to Lauren, she stopped her guitar as she was singing and held Lauren's face. When she said the last verse, Lauren immediately kissed her like no one before. With everyone cheering they broke there kiss and went back stage...

At least, Camila thought they both went backstage.

Camila pulled out her headset and gave it to the producers, she then walked over to her dressing room where she thought Lauren was at but wasn't. She then knew something was up, she realized Lauren's strange behavior but didn't question it.

David then walked in, "Awesome performance!"

"Where's Lauren?" Camila asked, knowing he had something to do with it.

"Bathroom maybe but that's not the point, there about to introduce the next winner-"

Camila ignored him and grabbed her phone from her purse, she went on the latest celebrity news- and that's when she saw it.

ZAYN MALIK IS SEEN WITH A MYSTERIOUS GIRL ENTERING THE HOTEL WHERE ALL CELEBRITIES ARE STAYING AT, DITCHING THE MUSIC AWARDS!

Camila looked up from her phone to face David, she was so pissed. She knew it.

"Camila it's for publicity-"

"Screw publicity, that's my girlfriend!"

"And the winner for best written album is.... CAMILA CABELLO!"

"Camila you can't leave- you have to accept the award!"

"Lauren means more to me than a stupid award."
