Chapter 11

We got into Elliot's car and started driving to the house. Once we got I let out a sigh of relief because Betty wasn't there. She wasn't suppose to be there for another 3 days but still you never know with Betty. One time she said she told me she was going over to a friend house but was gone for 3 days after.

I went to the front door and got the keys but when I put them in the lock it didn't turn because it was already unlocked. I was sure I locked it when I had left with Elliot last time I put the keys back in the crack in the door and pushed the door open.

I was surprised to see April walking out of my room.

"Umm April what are doing here you don't usually stalk my house."

She nearly jumped out of her skin.

"Thx goodness your ok and you sacred the crap out of me," she whined.

"Yeah because It not like I live here or anything ", I said sarcastically.

"Well I remember you telling me that Betty was going to be out of town for a week. And I know how you hate this place. So I came here to check to make sure you were ok."

"Why would I not be ok."

"Because last time Betty was gone for this long you ran away and hid in the woods. Only this time none of your stuff is gone. So I was about to run into the woods with a blanket I had brought from home" she said pointing to the large bag on her shoulder.

"Oh I sorry I scared you but you could've just called me."

"Like you would of answered u didn't last time. Ok and by the way why weren't you in school today and don't say you were sick because I can see your not."

"You want the truth," I asked her.

"YES!"

"Ok but the truth is kind of scary and you wont be able to tell anyone."

"Ok I wont just tell me already." 

"Ok I will but I mean it you cant tell anyone anything. And I don't mean wait a week then tell someone when you think I'm not looking."

"Jeez I tell this one guy you like him one time and you still haven't let it go. But anyway fine I promise now just tell me already."

"Ok" I said.

As I said that Elliot walked in through the door.

"Ohh is that what you wanted to tell me that you have a boyfriend and a hot one to."

"He's mine I almost yelled at her. That's not what I was going to tell you."

I turned to Elliot.

"Show her your fangs."

He walked over to her fangs showing.

"Oh you have fangs to" she said pulling a box that had her fangs in it out.

"Yeah but mine are real." he said.

"I don't believe you" she said and poked his fangs.

"Why is everyone doing that he said."

"Because there not normal there interesting." I said.

"I still don't believe you" she said.

"Then why is your finger bleeding."

"Because my cat cut me last night and it decided to reopen."

"What will it take to convince you I'm a vampire."

 "Wow wait your a real vampire I thought you were just a obsessed fan of them like me."

"I told you I had fangs a minute ago and why do you believe me know, he said."

"Well anybody can have fangs but they cant cut you with there fangs. By the way ouch that hurt."

"So was that it Ella. Did you just want to tell me that your boyfriend is a vampire."

"Yes and No", I told her.

"What."

"Yes that is what I want to tell you but that's not all I want to tell you." 

"What else did you want to tell me."

"That I'm leaving for a week because there is a vampire who wants to hurt me." 

"What You cant leave you would be fine here."

"I know I don't want to go either."

"Why are you going then" she whined.

"Because Elliot is making me."

Elliot was slowly walking away but she stormed over to him.

"If you ever hurt her I will hunt you down and make you wish you were never born." She screamed at him. I don't care if you are a vampire."

Hey da-sha-voo I thought.

"He wont. Do you want to help me get the stuff I need for my trip.

"Yeah come on she" said. as she grabbed arm and started pulling me to her bedroom.

She helped me pack and we talked about stuff. Like what would she do the next week without me. I told her that she should go get herself a man because if I had one before her that she was slipping up. She handed me my luggage and sent me off.

"Wow was she in a bad mood or something."

"Hey don't judge her she hasn't had the best past," I said as I smacked him. "You should know this your a mind reader." 

"I can block it  out if I want to. It gets insane hearing every ones thoughts all the time," he said. But why is she so protective of you. 

"Because she is my best friend more than that really she is like a sister to me."

"I know but people aren't that naturally protective of people," he said.

"They are when they have had someone taken from them," I snapped.

"Woah what happened."

"April had a brother and she loved him more than she loved any one else. His name was Andrew and he had always wanted this special remote controlled plane. April got a job and saved up the money to buy him it. She took Andrew with her to the only store that had it. But when she was pulling up to the store it was later then she expected. She told Andrew to stay in the car so he wouldn't get hurt. She went into the store got the helicopter. but when she came back the car was gone and Andrew was lying in the spot that her car had been. She ran over to him but there was a big gash on his forehead. She called 911. They got there but by the time they had got there he had lost to much blood and died in her arms a few seconds after being loaded onto the ambulance."

"She wouldn't speak to anyone for a year. It didn't help that her parents got divorced a year later either. But I stayed with her and helped her through it. Know she is somewhat happy again. But she will get all sad if anyone says the name Andrew." 

"Wow I'm really sorry that that happened to you guys. You know its not right that all that bad stuff happens to good people," said.

"The world isn't right."

"I know but still."

I leaned my head against the widow and closed my eyes. I did not want to think of these painful memories anymore. Maybe I would be lucky enough to fall asleep before for I started crying. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Nope I thought as I fell asleep.

 Hey here is chapter 11. Know you know a little bit more about April. I almost cried when I wrote about what happened to Andrew. I know I said I wouldn't have another chapters up on new years but my friend didn't come over so I had nothing to do.
