One doctor and 3 nurses took Roohi inside. We waited outside . My blood pumping organ was beating faster with each second. I will not be able to forgive myself if something happens to her. She became a victim of my madness , my obsession and my feelings.. I was standing against the wall when I felt a slap on my right cheek . I looked at the person and found Mrs. Stevenson with a angry and hurt face.

Mrs. Stevenson "How could you stoop so low Alex? Is this what you have learnt ? Because of you a girl tried to take away her life. I feel ashamed of myself that I couldn't teach you manners. You failed me Alex . You failed us Alex. " I bursted out on him. As soon as Henry stated me everything on the call , my tiredness vanished and anger replaced it. I didn't believe my ears that Alex did something like that. I didn't wait for a second and rushed to the hospital in which she was admitted . The minute Alex came infront of my eyes and when my hands could reach his cheeks, I slapped him .

Mr. Stevenson "Lauren calm down your blood pressure will rise . We will talk about it later dear. This is not the right place and time. Moreover , Alex is ashamed of his mistake. Just look at him . " I tried to calm her.

Mrs. Stevenson "I am so done with you. Don't show me your face ever again . " I said Alex. I turned to Henry. "How is she?" I asked Henry and Alex turned me towards him and hugged me ... crying.

Alex "Please.... don't... do... this. " I said between sobs. "I am not.. capable of loosing.. any one more. Please .. Mrs. Stevenson .. please.." I said hugging her tightly . After a while she hugged me , running her hands on my back , soothing me. I felt relieved.

Mr. Stevenson "The Dr . and her team is treating her. They hadn't come out yet." I said Lauren , who was soothing Alex. She nodded at me.

Mrs. Stevenson " Why did you do this? My Alex is not like this . No matter what, he will never force him on a girl and that too who can't speak . Why did you do that?" I asked him while engulfing him in my arms.

Alex "I am.. sorry ... I am ... really sorry... I got... blinded .. in my obsession, madness and feelings.. for her." I said her .

Mrs. Stevenson "Sssh.. my child. You like her so much ..that you are crying for her... then why did you do that. There are ways to make a person fall for you and forcing is not right and that too when she likes some one else." I said him.

Alex "I am sorry...I don't.. want to loose... her. I will not... be able to handle it.." I said .

Mrs. Stevenson " Nothing will happen to her. She will be fine . But you have to promise you won't hurt her again." I said.

Alex "I will .. never..ever..let the thought...of .. hurting her..even ..cross my mind. I promise. " I said.

Phone rings

Alex "I will have to take this. " I said wiping my tears as my PI 's name flashed.

Mrs. Stevenson "We are here. Come soon. " I said him and he nodded.

Exiting the hospital , I reached out and fresh air enveloped me. I picked up the call.

Alex "Hello."

PI "Sir. I have gathered information about Miss Roohi Arora. Sir I have mailed you her file but Sir.."

Alex "Go on. " I said him to continue.

PI "Before coming to Amsterdam, four years ago she was taken away from her hometown Nagpur to Mumbai by her uncle . She was there for two years. And sir the information about that two years I couldn't get .I tried very hard but it was not possible. Before she came here, her Uncle was arrested and he is still in jail. I think we can get about that two years from her best friend Ram Sahani , with whom she is living in here. They are childhood best friends . I am sure he can give us the required details. " I said.
