The Transfer Student

Chapter 6

I sat on my bed and looked around yhe room noticing my sister, Elsi asleep at my vanity.

"Elsi, you've been stealing my makeup again." I said standing and putting my hand on her shoulder only for her to turn to dust. I tried to screamed but my sobs stole the noise.

"Mom!" I screamed standing and running out into the hall. Father body laid on the stair case and Mothers on the livingroom floor. Malcom was on the kitchen floor and Jared s was on his bedroom floor with the phone in his hand.

"Lindsey?" I turned to see Josh with tears in his eyes.

"Dont touch him." He whispered and nodded towards Jared.

"Their dead! All of them because you brought me here!" I screamed at him standing and pushing him down the hall and out the front door. I walked the neighbor hood for a live soul but all were bodies and Ashes on the ground.

"Why!" I screamed as I fell to the ground hoping that it was all a dream.

"Lindsey stop." Josh told me but I began beating on the asphalt with my fist which began bleeding quickly.

"Wake up! Wake up!" I screamed sobbing so loud I thought the heavens would hear. I sobbed until the next morning when I finally fell over in exhaustion.

"Lindsey come we will take you home." Josh told me grabbing my shoulders but I pushed him away.

"I am home. That is a dream and I finally blew out my final birthday candle." I said as I thought about what my mother had told me three months ago.

"If you drain us of our souls then you will be the best person on the earth cause you already have an awesome soul!" She told me kissing my forehead and that day I promised myself I would die before I killed her.

"I failed you momma." I cried thinking of all the fun I had with them since I could remember.

"Why did you do it, Josh?" I asked him as I sat on the asphalt with blood covered hand and face smeared with dirt and blood.

"Because you asked me too." He sighed sitting next to me. The tears clouded my vision but I told him to continue.

"You wanted to know parents and siblings so we came up with the idea you would come to this world to be one of the Carters. I didn't know how the human reacted when the alien changed but it didn't matter to you... you said we'd be home in time to marry." He told me and I looked at him.

"We married but one day you just left to here without me and without supervision you lost your memory in the process." He sighed and pulled out his wallet to reveal a blue girl with perfect cheek bones and lips. She had long black hair that touched the ground.

"Who's that!?" I asked and he smiled.

"That you in your true form." He frowned.

"Three years ago." He said and I turned my attention to the man next to the blue girl. He had green skin with black hair and I red streak in his hair.

"That you?" I asked and he nodded but the frowned.

"Three years ago." He said smiling and standing.

"Come to your true home, Emma." He said the name and my heart pounded with love. I remember the nights we spent at the beach shore just staring at each other.

"Oh, my Rumiko. My sweet lovely Rumiko." I smiled at him as my heart felt with the wrath of his touch and the smell of his skin.

"Emma." He hugged me holding my head to his chest and humming something calmly.

"I love you." He whispered and I snuggled to his chest.

"I love you too." I told him and he smiled.

"Close your eyes." He said and I did. A rush of air went around us and then calmed.

"Open." He said and I opened my eyes to the spot on the beach we had laid all night.

"Oh, Rumiko!" I said jumping into his arms.

"Come with me." He smiled leading me into a booth and closing the curtains behind us.

"Close em." He smiled when I did and a bright light shown through my eye lids.

"Open." He said and I looked at the tall man with a black mustache in front of me and I felt my heart want him.

"Your turn. Now just do as you remember." He said smiling and turning around. I looked down at my body and the skin I had began being wrapped up by vines and the skin under was turning blue. When the vines were wrapped in my hair I told him to turn, and his eye grew six sizes. My body now twenty years looking, had matured into a skinny, Butt and breasts monster.

"Your so different. " He said smiling at my vine clothing.

"Like usaul you like vines over polyester!" He joked and ran out the booth to reveal a new world at night. The sky was awesome but the water was now the sky and the ground was sky. Stars shown under us and I threw a stone up and it landed in the water splashing water.

"It's beautiful!" I cried and he grabbed my waist and pulled me to him. I kissed him closing my eyes and smiling as the taste of his mouth and mine became ours.
