Joey pov:
So I guess I've been friend zoned by y/n, it hurts that she is not mine, but I'm happy that I can still see her and still have her in my life in another way.
Jc pov:
I really hoped y/n would decide to be with me, but I'm glad I can still call her my friend. It hurts that I can't have her, but I'm glad I can still see her as my friend.
Y/n pov:
It's been a tough week, me and joey haven't spoken to each other, and we haven't told our fans, which we probably won't do cause we may soon be together again. I still love Joey and always will, but I just need a break from relationships and focus on my youtube career and get together with other people and make new friends. I'm sad that me and Joey haven't spoken in a while, I guess he is still hurt, and I feel really bad if he is mad at me or upset. I just want us to be able to hang out and talk as 'just friends'. I walked to joeys room and his door was opened, he was on his bed watching Netflix, probably anime. I knocked on the door and he turned his vision away form his laptops and directly into my eyes.
Joey: come in.
He said gesturing me over to sit next to him.
Y/n: I hope ur not mad at me or-
Joey: of course I'm not mad at u, and the past week we haven't talked, and I want that to change.
Y/n: wat do u mean?
Joey: do u wanna hang out, as 'just friends'?
Y/n: of course Joey, I'd love too.
Joey: so wat do u wanna do today?
Y/n: wanna have a picnic at a park or we can go to the beach, or have a picnic on the beach.
There was awkward silence, and I felt my eyes begin to water.
Y/n: ohh... I'm sorry it sounds like I'm planning a date.
Joey: no no, friends can have picnics together at the beach or park, nothing wrong with that.
I wiped my tears away and joey smiled, I smiled back.
Y/n: ok so it's said to be hot weather today, maybe the beach?
Joey: yeah, and there's a cafe right across the road from it where we can get lunch.
Y/n: sounds awesome, I'll go get ready.
Joeys pov:
When y/n left the room I couldn't stop smiling as I flopped on my bed looking up at the ceiling, this was gonna be a great day, me and y/n 'just friends' going to hang out all day. I closed my laptop and went to my closet to get ready.
*at the beach*
We arrived at the beach, I was wearing my maroon tank top with my swim shorts, and y/n wearing a pretty yellow summer dress.
Y/n: wow not as crowed as I thought it was gonna be.
Joey: but the water had hardly anyone in it. It's so clear, blue and beautiful for spacious skies.
We layed our beach towels on the sand and we both had our shades on. A familiar face came in front of us blocking the sun.
Tyler: hey y'all never thought I would see u two hanging out.
( Tyler as in Tyler Oakley and all of Joey and y/n friend and family know they broke up for a while and are still friends)
Joey: hey Tyler never thought we would see u here, wanna hang with us?
Y/n: yeah come on Tyler we can all hang out as 'just friends'.
Tyler: oh ok I'll go grab my things over there by troye and I'll ask if he wants to hang out too.
Sorry for short chapter and yes I did start to make this a bit of a troyler fanfic. I'll update soon don't worry and the chapter will be longer.
