Riley's POV
On our way inside we all separated and went in our own direction to find our friends. That was when I spotted me best friend Raymond by our locker. Raymond is my locker buddy again for this year.
At this school we are required to have locker partners. "Hey Raymond," I said, Raymond turned around and cracked a wide smile and hugged me tightly. "Hey baby boo how have you been? OMG I haven't seen you in so long!" He cooed
"Oh please, I saw last weekend," I said smiling brushing his comment off. We continued to chat about the last week of summer until the school bell rung for the first class period of the year. While talking to Raymond I realized that we only had two class together one less than we had last year which sucks.
I arrived in my first class period which is Honors World History. I looked in the classroom first to see if I knew anyone I liked in this class.
I walked in and noticed Courtney one of my other friends seated in the middle rows in the class finishing up a text before the teacher started talking.
"Hello class I am your world history this year. My name is Ms. Stuart, as you all may know this is honors/accelerated class I expect you to behave accordingly. "
Ms.Stuart was a pretty nicely dressed lady.For the rest of class she just talked about this years activities and homework assignments. I decided to only partially listen to her because it is the same as every other year and the same speech from every teacher. She gave us some papers that need to be signed by our parents going over this years assignments, also suggesting that we also read it.
See, same thing every year and not only that I just cleaned this backpack out last night and there is more papers to come...ugh. Skimming the papers she had typed it said to turn these papers in by Thursday for credit. I am most definitely getting this signed lord knows my grade won't stay good for long. I shrugged it off and started to think about my plans for the weekend.
Pretty soon the bell rung and I was headed to my math class. Time goes by so fast when your mind is on something else.
