"SHIT IM GONNA BE LATE!" i said while honking at the car infront of me to speed up. "staten island traffic!" i said under my breath. i work at a restaurant that i own. it's a 80s themed diner and i had no time to do my hair or change so now i have to do it at the restaurant. i'm so pissed.
20 minutes later
i had finally arrived at my damn restaurant named mj's named after my mom and dads initials. i walked in looking like a hot mess when my coworker jade tapped me on the shoulder. "y/n, what happened?!" "well i woke up late and then i got stuck in traffic and i had no time to do anything." "well we have ten minutes left, go get ready!" "alright thank you!"
i walked into the workers bathrooms and got my hair things out. my clips and my hairspray, everything. then i did my makeup then got dressed. i wore a tight black dress with white tennis shoes. i put my black hair down and curled it. i packed my things and walked back outside.
there was a strange man at the counter just looking confused. "sir can i help you?"
"hi uh yea, so i have a show called the impractical jokers, they're kind of a big deal, and i was wondering if they could do pranks at your restaurant." "what do they uh do?" "all they do is prank people and hide cameras everywhere, we can pay you." "okay cool, when?" "tomorrow at 4." "yeah sure." "okay here's my card, call me if something comes up." "will do."
"what was that about?" jade asked.
"some guy wants his show to film at our restaurant." "oh?" "yeah." "cool!" "it did sound pretty cool.""well let's get back to work."
