2-you were there

A/n: I actually don't know how to address reki during the dream. I guess if he's referring to it I'll call him reki and use he him but if we're in the dream I'll use cindereki and she/her.

Langa sat on his bed in confusion. Throughout the week Reki had been acting very strange, spacing out had become normal and he would refuse to share anything about why. This made Langa a little upset, his crush was basically ignoring his attempts to help, but the crush part of it didn't matter.

It did for Reki though. He just, didn't even know his own feelings anymore. So much so that he stopped looking directly at Langa. This was all too much. It was like when they fought and Reki ignored him for a week or so, but this was worse. He wanted to hang out, but just couldn't bring himself to.

"Hey...Hey! Are you with us?" Joe tapped on Reki's shoulder. He was sound asleep in Joe's restaurant. Well he was losing sleep due to this whole nightmare thing and the fact that his sleep schedule was bad already made things worse.

"Leave the boy be, somebody with an obviously bad sleep schedule like him needs the extra sleep, not that you know." Cherry barked.

"Hey! I do know! I was a teenager like him once!" Joe replied.

"I knew you were! That's why I brought it up you mindless gorilla! Jeez you're so stupid some times." This was a fight like normal. Nothing special.

"You're lucky I love you!" And Joe broke the ice. In fact he shattered the ice with those words.

"Oh here it is with the 'I love you crap' I get it!" Their faces got very close and Joe was about to say something else then heard something and stopped.

"Um guys?" Reki lifted his head from the table, fluttering his eyes awake. He looked at the situation he was now in. "I'll leave now if you want. No, wait I came here for advice."

Cherry's head snapped to him. "Make it quick."

Reki searched for the right words. "How um, how can you tell if you like someone?"

"Why are you asking that? And why us?" Cherry questioned.

"Well you two are together aren't you? That's why I asked you, and for the other question, I don't wanna answer." He put his head back onto the table, and waited for a response.

"Well, you're right about us being together, but I still gotta ask why." Cherry questioned further.

"Yeah they are the most dysfunctional couple ever I don't even know why they're together."

Miya entered the restaurant. This was the second time that he had surprised Reki with his presence.

"You like someone huh? I figured, a slime like you would have a crush."

"Miya, can you not surprise me like that?! And I don't know if I like someone that's why I'm here! Anyway where's Langa?" The whole gang was there now, aside Shadow who was at work and Langa.

Miya scoffed and sat down. "Hey why are you all here?!" Joe suddenly shouted.

"It's the weekend Dummy of course we're here." Miya remarked. Joe rolled his eyes and let the conversation continue.

"Langa is I don't know where, and I like listening in until I find something good to refute."

Reki stared at him looking slightly annoyed. Miya smirked and continued.

"So you think you like someone? First off, who are you into?" He questioned.

"I'm not saying anything." Reki answered.
