chapter 1 - Just a "normal" girl

It's a beautiful sunny day. Avery is in her boring art class. Everyone is tired because it's the last class. The class is about old but significant paintings. The only one that is interested in this class is Chloe Oraque. Im pretty sure she isnt even interested in it, she just wants good grades. She bullies Avery, but she is getting a bit nicer lately.

The bell finaly rang and Avery decited she is going to go to the bathroom so she can splash some cold water on her face. She is feeling very dizzy and doesnt want to faint. "I'm just gonna splash some water and..." She hears someone yelling and she quickly hides in one of the bathroom stalls. Someone opens the door. A girl and a boy comes in. The boy yells at the girl: "You little rat! why did you tell the principal that i have a gun?!". the girl is clearly scared and answers: "I just dont want you to hurt someone. Your not even suppost to have a gun!". The boy shoots her... Avery quickly oped the door to the bathroom stall and yelled as she shot out her right hand: "NOOOOO! Stop- ". She didnt even get to finish then sentence and she was back in the class. Confused about everything that happend. Avery has many questions she wants an answer to: "Did the girl die? Why am i back in class? Did i just fall asleep? WAIT did i go back in time? Can i save the poor girl?". Very confused she listens to the teacher. "he is saying everything that he already said.. so i did go back in time.. I need to sava that poor girl she didnt do anything!" she says in her head. She just needed to figure out how she got back in time. She puts her right hand in front of her and goes back in time again. "I did it again. i went back in time." She is pacciently waiting for the bell to ring again.

*the bell rings*

Avery starts running faster then ever. "Hey! Avery not that fast. Is the class really that boring that you need to run so fast?" the teacher stops her. She answers: " Ummm no miss. I just need to go do something really fast." "Not that fast. Im still waiting for your entry on the competition." the teacher still tries to stop her. "Im looking forward to entering it's just that my art piece is not finished." as she ends the sentence she runs out of the class. "What if its too late?" she thinks. I need to call the police now! She gets her phone and calls the police.

They are on their way. Avery sees the police in front of the door and she quickly explains that the boy has a gun. The boy just runs past them and Avery yells: " Thats him! He has the gun!". The police cought him and arrested him. Avery was scared he was gonna hate her so she ran to her apartment.

"What just happened? I cant belive i did that. I got back in time and saved that girl. How did i go back in time? I'm just gonna chill out and try to find why that happened." After searching for about an hour she found...nothing... Avery gave up and decited that she is going to read a book. She didn't know where the  book was but she relised something. "WHAT IS GOING ON?! Why can i see thru a wall and all of the stuff? Im scared. What is going on?! I need to find out why this is happening. I'm going to go to that old library maybe i'll find something there since it's so old."

"This was such a long walk, but i'm finaly here." she walks into the library. As she is trying to find a book about her powers, she sees an old lady trying to reach a book. The lady is very short with short grey curly hair. She has a beautiful lip shape and ocean blue eyes.  "Oh sorry to bother you, but i can see you need help. Which book are you trying to get?" Avery tries to be nice. "Oh young lady your here in the perfect time." she said with week voice. " I really want that book about romance but i can't reach it. Could you please give it to me?" Avery answers: " Sure let's see if i can reach it." she says as she reaches for the book. "Here, im happy i could help you. Also do you know if there are any book about unusual powers? ".  The lady answers: " Thank you for your help Avery Noonfiel. In fact i was hoping you will relise how to use your powers. We should go to the park and i'll tell you about your powers." Avery looks at the lady suspiciosly and asks her: "Look i'm very confused right now. How do you know my name? And you know i have powers? Today is a very strange day and i don't know anything about special powers." the lady says: "Come on Avery let's go to the park and i will explain everything dont worry." 

*they go to the park*

The lady starts explaining: " So in our side of the world, when you reach a sertain age you will have to pass your powers to another person. They gave me pictures of girls and boys and i had to pick someone. You seemed like you can handle all of this so i decited to give my powers to you. Did you ever relise the fact that you always had brown eyes and when you turned 12 they were suddenly turned green? I bet you did, i just passed my powers to you. You have three powers: taking time back, you can see thru things and reading minds. I know you propably didnt discover all of them, but you need to use them wisely couse they dont always have to work. It's getting late so go back to your school apartment and i will see you tomorow here at 15:00 don't be late :)"

Avery said bye and went to her apartment. Still very confused, but now she knew what was going on. She went to the shower and started singing.....After 15 minutes she relised it was late and went to bed.... "What a crazy but interesting day." she says as she falls asleep...
