Bonnie's Hook Up!

it was a warm sunny July day, Ash was babysitting Bonnie his friend Clemont's little sister, while he worked for the afternoon.
The black haired boy, who was 16 didn't have a job he didn't feel ready for the 'adult like life'.
So Ash would do any tiny job a 13 year old would do like babysitting, mowing lawns, and washing cars.
Ash at the moment was making noddles so Bonnie could eat, while she watched her favorite show Maganium and The Magic Rainbow, accompanied by Pikachu and Dedenne.

While mixing the noodles Ash spotted Gary walking towards the door
"great" Ash mumbled, his mom had given Gary a spare key, something about 'for emergency's' which made no sense to Ash
"hey Ashy boy!" Gary said with his cocky voice
"hey Gary" Ash mumbled annoyed
"just need some sugar, if you don't mind" Gary smiled
"in the cabinet on the right" Ash signaled not taking his eyes off his yard
"thanks!" Gary said grabbing the amount of sugar he needed and went to where Ash was
"that's a lot of noddles for just one person" he grinned with his chin on Ash's shoulder
Ash just nodding, blushing madly, too concentrated on how close Gary is to him
"I'm babysitting" Ash says
"oh I see, that's good Ashy" Gary replied understanding, patting Ash on the head
"don't call me that" Ash half way growled

Without knowing it Bonnie was at the entrance of the kitchen and saw the whole thing
she then discussed with Pikachu and Dedenne
"hey you know those two seem to really really like each other!" she smiled
Pikachu and Dedenne nodded, smiling agreeing with the blond
"I got a plan!" she winked at the Pokémon
"I didn't know you had a boyfriend Ash!" she shouted with her squeaky girly voice
"w-what?!? N-no!" Ash turned red stepping back from Gary
Gary just blinked and also turned a soft pink
"no wonder you didn't react when Serena kissed you last summer at the party! Because you were dating him!" she pointed at Gary with her eyes sparkling
"what?!? No!" Ash shook his head
when Serena kissed him at the park that summer, didn't react because he didn't see Serena that way, one thing Bonnie did get right is that he does feel something for Gary
"wait! Hold the phone! You got your first kiss already?!?" Gary asked shocked yet disappointed?
Ash nodded
"but who cares I didn't even ask for it" Ash shrugged
"also who's Serena?" Gary added
"why do you care?!?" Ash sighed
"b-because! I do!" Gary crossed his arms almost jealous?
Bonnie's eyes sparkled and she smirked at Gary who felt embarrassed
"I would never EVER date a LOSER like Ash" he grunted, with his arms still crossed, standing as cocky as ever
"I am NOT a loser!" Ash whined
"are too!" Gary snapped
"am not!" Ash crossed his arms it went like that for maybe 5 minutes until Bonnie busted out laughing
"what's funny squirt??" Gary snapped
"you may say you would never date a loser like Ash but you two sure act and fight like an old married couple" she giggled
"listen kid, you don't even know me and my relationship with Ashy boy here–" Bonnie proceeds to cut him off

"Ashy boy? How cute!" she busted out laughing even more making Ash trying to hide his blush and Gary blush too
"I think you should just shut your mouth now" Ash grumbled stirring the pot
Gary crossed his arms shaking his head
Bonnie being the young girl she is she decided maybe she can get them to confess their feelings by daring them to
"let's play truth or dare!" she giggled
"excellent idea! I dare you to shut your mouth!" Gary said sarcastically excited
Bonnie put her arms on her hips not impressed
"don't be hard on her" Ash grabbed Gary's arm
now Gary felt like he was grounding Bonnie for life or something, and Ash being an overprotective mother
he quickly yanked his arm away, just thinking about the idea
made him blushed
"ahem" Bonnie clears her throat
"I dare . . . Ash to tell 'him' how he really feels about him!" she giggled pointing at Gary clearly not knowing his name
Ash took a deep breath and started "he's an annoying, immature brat, who thinks the world revolves around him, always thinks he's all that, and he's an annoying pain in the neck" Ash gave off a fake smile
"ouch, harsh" Gary raised an eyebrow
"thanks, I try" Ash rolls his eyes
"we all know that's not how you really feel" Bonnie crossed her arms with a smirk
Ash blushed and continued stirring the pot, Gary just stared at him blankly

"hey brunette, what's your name again??" she says in her sassy Bonnie tone
"Gary, and Gary Oak blondy, remember that I'm the famous Professor Oak's grandson, have some respect!" he stood proudly, with a fist on his chest
"yeah yeah whatever, and my name isn't 'blondy' it's Bonnie!" she pouted crossing her arms
Gary shrugged not even caring
Bonnie looked at Pikachu and Dedenne and they all smiled, Ash was too concentrated cooking he didn't even notice, Gary did and just raised an eyebrow at them as if they were crazy

"Ash and Gary sitting in a tree!
K-i-s-s-i-n-g!" Bonnie started jumping a circle around Ash and Gary
Gary blushed and so did Ash the two didn't know if chasing Bonnie was the answer or maybe just telling her to shut her mouth
"first comes love! Then comes marriage! Then–" Gary then covered her mouth
"listen kid, shutting your mouth would be better" Gary whispers
Bonnie breaks free and just glared at Gary
"she's not wrong though" Ash admitted
"what?" Gary turns to him
"I don't know, really . . . I guess all your teasing since we were kids, just got to me and well it made me feel something for you" he sighed
"oh uh, well . . . I-I'm not the best at showing my feelings either" Gary fidgeted with his two index fingers

Bonnie just laughed at the two now confessing their feelings
"I knew it!" she said calming down her laughter
"you'll thank me later!" she winked as she went back in the living room
"this is awkward" Gary laughed nervously
"yup" Ash replied
"you should take that sugar home, that's what you were going to do, right?" Ash added
Gary nodded and patted his head
"bye Ash" Ash didn't say anything and just spaced into his own world
he didn't even notice Bonnie leave the house and catch up to Gary to talked to him, Gary looked unconvinced about whatever they were talking about

Then he smiled and agreed or something with Bonnie
Bonnie went back in the house and Ash stared at her blankly
"what was that about?" he said blankly
"oh nothingggg!" Bonnie smiled going back in the living room
"but you'll thank me later!" she added

Ash shook his head ignoring the young blonde thinking she's crazy
the next day when Ash once again babysat Bonnie, she would keep looking out the window
Ash confused would ask her why she'd look out the window so much, and she would just say it was nothing and continued watching TV

Once the door bell rang and Ash went to get it he found a beautiful flower arrangement with a squirtle plushie in the middle of it with roses surrounding it

Ash smiled and noticed a card attached to it and read it

' I'm terrible at writing love letters, but I'm sorry for all the things I've said and done to you, all these years I've made you miserable and again I'm so sorry, I've never wanted to hurt you on the contrary I want to make you happy and I love you.

"thanks Bonnie" Ash smiled going up the stairs smiling at her then admiring the arrangement
Bonnie smiled nodding
then giving Pikachu and Dedenne a high five.
